About

RuPaul's Drag Race winner Jinkx Monsoon (she/her/they/them) is the "internationally tolerated" cabaret icon who's taken over the entertainment industry as an award-winning actress, acclaimed vocalist, and theatre sensation. She's now competing on RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars Season 7 amongst a cast of all winning contestants.

Since gaining a massive international fan base, Jinkx has toured the world performing her original cabaret shows with music partner Major Scales, including highly-acclaimed shows like The Ginger Snapped, The Vaudevillians (which became a hit off-broadway sensation) and their most recent production, Together Again, Again (2022). In 2018, she partnered with best friend and fellow RuPaul's Drag Race star, BenDeLaCreme for their first major holiday tour To Jesus, Thanks for Everything! - Jinkx and DeLa. Jinkx and DeLa's co-written holiday productions have grown into a worldwide phenomenon, spawning the 2019 tour, All I Want for Christmas is Attention, a Hulu holiday hit, The Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Special (2020), and The Return of the Jinkx & DeLa Holiday Show, LIVE! (2021) which performed for sold-out audiences at venues like the Fillmore (Philadelphia) all across the U.S., U.K. and Canada.

She is an award-winning stage actress, having won the Gregory Award for her portrayal of Hedwig in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and most recently, The MAC Award for her show The Ginger Snapped, co-written with Major Scales. No stranger to film and TV, Jinkx has appeared on the CBS cop drama Blue Bloods, the Netflix original AJ and the Queen, and has voiced characters for such animated shows as Steven Universe, Mighty Magiswords, Bravest Warriors, as well as a few surprises that are yet to come! Jinkx has been the subject of two documentaries: Drag Becomes Him, and The Queens.

Jinkx is gearing up for the release of her new EP out later this summer, and has dropped the lead single for the project, "Know-It-All" written by Major Scales.

    Great performance but poor sound

    by Jeff K. on 8/27/23

I couldn't hear or understand much of the spoken part of the performance or any of the vocals for the songs. Something was definitely messed up for the sound, unfortunately. Was super cool to see Jinkx in an all-new, original show. Was really happy to see her on tour with her own band.

    Good show

    by Beth on 8/23/23

Jinkx was good...wish she had done more impressions and comedy. Paramount Theater is beautiful, but not very ADA friendly. It was difficult to see since a large / tall man sat in front of my daughter. Seats would be better if each row was elevated (but this is expensive to do). A bit disappointing that we had to maneuver to see. Asked an employee who looked for booster cushions for us, but they were gone. It's difficult to get my daughter in and out of places, and we had so looked forward to seeing Jinkx and it just wasn't as great of a time as we had hoped.

    An Absolut Talent!

    by Dbell on 8/23/23

We did not know what to expect with going to see Jinkx new production. We have seen her every year with the Christmas tour with Ben Da. We loved her on RuPaul's drag race, her talent is over the top. While there are a few times we looked at each other like, what did we just see! haha. Do not let that keep you from seeing Jinkx! We will see her again this winter with Ben!

    Once was enough

    by J. M. on 8/20/23

I applaud Jinxx for getting out there as a headliner, but her overall appeal as a singer and comedian were lackluster on the stage. The overall song selections were not enjoyable and it appeared that the audience was just hoping that whatever was coming next would be better. Other than her performance on stage as Judy Garland, he own songs were high school quality at best. If you like Jinxx for the fact that she is goofy and campy, you might get your moneys worth. But her talent only takes her so far .

    Jinkx is AMAZING

    by Tejana Dame on 8/16/23

Everything about the show was a 10+, except for the sound mix. The drums and bass sometimes overshadowed Jinkx’s vocals, which is a shame, as Jinkx can sing like nobody’s business. Overall, it was a delightful evening; I just wish the vocals had been boosted more in the mix.

    An amazing experience!

    by Jwnseawa on 8/16/23

The comedy, the singing (including many original songs), the band, was all so very entertaining and the highest quality show imaginable. Jinkx is proving over and over what a Drag Superstar she is. If you have a chance to see this show on the tour, you definitely should do it!

    Excellent show, wrong venue.

    by Kyleigh G. on 8/15/23

Jinx Monsoon put on an incredible show, with lots of laughs, powerful moments, and amazing talent. The sound quality was fairly poor though— often the background music was too loud and could not decipher words. Would have preferred a smaller venue, but the show was also sold out. Just wish the Paramount had better sound quality. This was not my first show there where I have had that complaint.

    Jinx was Amazing

    by Stu on 8/15/23

The concert/show was fantastic. My only complaint is related to the sound quality. Up in the balcony the sound was a bit muffled and hard to understand.

    Loved Jinks

    by Ts on 8/15/23

Loved Jinks but the theater was filled with haze and hot. My daughter had to leave early to breath
