My buddy and I and checked out our first Charlotte Independence game at the Matthews facility. What a great place to watch a game! Awesome facility, easy to find, lots of concessions and clean bathrooms. The Independence are a great team, and were very fun to watch! We will definitely be back.

Had an awesome time at the match. Will definitely be coming back again, as my schedule permits. Season tickets might be an option.
Good atmosphere, good game, parking adequate. Reasonable price. My only constructive criticism is there are few food options.
The game was enjoyable but the tickets are priced high considering it was similar to watching college level players. If they decide to charge for parking they should think again. The lot is small and so we had to park on the lawn which was full of holes and muddy - I wouldn't pay $5 to party that way. Overall, not sure that the price point makes sense for the level of play.
The new stadium is quite nice, however they have no contingency for inclement weather. When a bad storm rolled through 20 minutes before the start of the game they instructed everyone to vacate the bleachers, good, and get into their vehicles, bad. They have no on premise location for people to be safe from the elements, instead you risk getting struck by lightning getting back to your own car. Once the weather cleared and the game started the experience was enjoyable and our group had a good time.
Friendly, helpful staff, Giant Video Screen, Decent selection of vendors, and a nice new facility combine with the great show that the team puts on to make this a fun experience and a great way to spend an evening with the family.
I went to the game with my six year old and an old buddy from college. We all had a great time. Great atmosphere and the new Matthews Sportsplex is very well done. It's great to see that the Independence have a great new facility to play at and we look forward to more games in our future.
Got the tickets for myself and 8 yr old son; first row paid top dollars; unfortunately because of the height of substitute bench height; HE CANNOT SEE a thing. Had to leave in 20 mins... DO Not buy behind the substitute bench...
