A High School level show at best! No where near worth the ticket prices. Event space "balcony" seating was a poorly placed high top table with next to no visibility. So disappointing
We had the pleasure of taking in American Idiot at the late show (9:30 pm) at the Vogel Theatre and it was a fun, wild ride. The venue is small and intimate, and the staff was very friendly. The production itself was very well done. There were a few technical issues, like a mike or two going out mid-show, but with the amount of energy and movement on stage, this could be forgiven. The cast was great, and the singing really hit the mark.
The play itself was great, but could hardly see any of it! The table seating is not for a show like this. Too many places to look on stage. A stationery singer would have been fine, but not a play. The venue is good that it’s small, but change that seating for plays!
What a fabulous show! Such a talented cast, wonderful scenery and costumes. Venue was perfect! We will be back!
The Vogel, great intimate venue for American Idiot. Loved the scaffolded staging and tv props, perfect interpretation! The cast was talented and energetic as needed for this passionate plot! Music and sound, great! Costumes, effective! An entertaining show well done!
The amount of magic they made happen on that small stage was amazing. Very talented cast and band. A good time was had by all.
Every single player was on point! Incredible vocals, acting, stage props all perfection! Absolutely in the top 3 of my favorite shows! Saw it first on Broadway, and this production could have easily taken place in a Broadway theater! 5 plus stars!
Saw the original run on Broadway over 10 years ago, so seeing it again was exciting! It's one of my favorite plays and the venue was awesome!
