    Yo on the GO!

by Kenny on 2/10/24House of Blues Houston - Houston

Yo was funny, engaging and entertaining. I really like a comedian that I can relate to, and Yo was relatable to the entire crowd. I look forward to seeing Yo in the near future, even if that means seeing him outside of Houston.

    A fun evening

by Linjo on 2/7/24House of Blues Houston - Houston

I love Michael and got my tickets 6 months ago. I follow him on Facebook and really enjoy his comedy. His stand-up was cruder than what I expected. Looking at the range of ages of his audience, I can imagine other fans felt the same way. I thought he went a little too far with “Andrew”. Hometown guy has done well! Tell your fellow comedians to come to Houston! We get bypassed.

Funny! But I almost didn't stay to see him!

by Dee on 2/6/24House of Blues Houston - Houston

Michael Yo was really funny - I truly enjoyed his act and am so glad I stayed to see it. However, I almost left before he even came on because of the hour and a half preceding the show. House of Blues did him and the audience a real disservice. If I ever attend anything there again, (doubtful) it will be with the knowledge that I will take a chance on either showing up quite late and possibly missing the headliner, or sitting through 90 minutes of some really awful warm-ups. A DJ played for the first hour. It was miserable. My husband wanted to just go home. The bass was so heavy that my seat was vibrating. I ducked into the bathroom for a while to escape, and spent most of the rest of the time with my fingers in my ears because it was so loud. There was no way to converse with my friends, and I couldn't even scroll on my phone because my fingers were in my ears. The only thing to do was drink watered-down, overpriced drinks. Hmmm - anybody see that ploy? You can't leave and come back in, so that wasn't an option either. This was followed by about 30 minutes of warm-up comics, which I totally understand. Everybody needs a start. But I sure wasn't expecting an hour of misery prior to that. A shame, because it's a pretty nice venue, the seats are comfortable and it was easy to see the stage. House of Blues gets some good talent, but be aware that you will sit through 90 minutes of possible torture before the one hour show that you paid to see.

    Incredibly funny!

by Golfnana52 on 2/6/24House of Blues Houston - Houston

Loved Michael!! DJ before comedians was way too loud given that there were several older people in the audience.

    Don’t miss Michael Yo

by Willie on 10/23/23Punch Line Philly - Philadelphia

He was fantastic and funny. He connected with the audience and even tried out some new material. Afterward he took photos with anyone who wanted one for free. I’d pay to see him again.

    Great show

by Debbie on 4/18/23The Armory at MGM Springfield - Springfield

This is the second time I’ve seen Michael Yo and he did not disappoint. My friends and I laughed during the entire show. His opener Connor McGrath was also great and I hope to see him perform again.

    A very good comedian

by Cynthia on 2/12/20Punch Line Philly - Philadelphia

Had a great time! He’s a good & funny comedian. It was well worth the money. I would go to see him again. His “openers” were funny as well. Enjoyable night with a mature crowd.
