Backflips and wheelies and donuts oh my

by Monster Jam Mama on 4/3/24Lumen Field - Seattle

I had a great experience with my son attending our third monster jam event. By far this was our favorite, We got to actually see Grave Digger this time. The stunts were absolutely amazing and the skill levels were elevated compared to our prior show. Ten out of ten I would sit in my section again. But I would sit two rows ahead next time to avoid the hands raised in the air every time I tried for a photo. That's not to detract from the experience. Just a better judgment call for myself next time! I will say be prepared to pay more than you planned on if you attend the pit party prior, The venue could advertise additional costs clearly prior to a line and disappointing a child. For a family friendly event with multiple kids it would cost as much as Disney tickets if you did all the add ons. This could be solved by simply putting the cost right on the tent that you could see from all angles. And then make that judgment call yourself. Seeing the trucks up close was amazing. But now knowing what I know I would opt out of thr pit party in the future. All in all an amazing experience and bringing that joy to my seven year old's face. I love that i'm the parent that does these kinds of events with him, When historically it's usually the Dad. Not this Mama who used to do roller derby and race quads in her twenties!

    Excellent show/amazing memories

by MonsterJamFan on 4/2/24Lumen Field - Seattle

Monster jam put on an excellent show and put party (as usual). Fun for all ages kids and adults!! Stadium tour is by far more exciting than arena tour, but Monster Jam does fantastic! Drivers were nice to the kids and interactive! Tribute to first responders and military is always appreciated! Time and money well spent!

Great for a 5 year old

    by C3p0 on 4/2/24Freedom Hall - Louisville

My 5 year old son enjoyed it but for me I would not go back. I would like a experience more close to the Los Vagas show or something closer for the price. The arena was really small though they did do cool tricks. Also there is no car smashing anymore.

Amazing show, I wouldn't pre-purchase stunt truck again.

by Oleksii on 4/2/24Lumen Field - Seattle

The show byitself was great, we love it. Pre-show pit party was good, people could buy toy trucks for kids and make photos with real trucks in background. Meantime to get my pre-purchased truck I had to wait for the end of pit party (so no photo of toy truck with the real one on background), and what's even worse - they give 'first from the box' truck, so my son didn't have a chance to choose which truck he would like! The worst experience, would I know it - I would better buy toy at preshow: same money, but he could choose a truck.

Show was great, Pit Party questionable

by RG on 4/2/24Freedom Hall - Louisville

We paid for 4 tickets to the Pit Party. It started at 10:30, that’s when doors opened so really weren’t getting us use until about 10:40 or so. Stood in line at Gravedigger to get an autograph. When we were next in line, the attendant told us it was shutting down. It was 11:10. The party ends at noon. My 7 year old son was so disappointed. We did manage to meet the other drivers and get autographs, however we saw the attendant let in 3 more families after we were sent away. My husband went back over and pointed this out, the attendant asked Weston Anderson (driver of Gravedigger) if my husband could get in line. He said yes of course! So we did finally get the autograph but it was disappointing to be sent away at 11:10 when the Pit Party wasn’t even halfway over yet. The attendant was to blame, not the driver. Several families ended up coming in after us as well. The show was great, the bikes were amazing to see, the drivers were so kind and it was overall an awesome memory for my family.

    great time

by Sara and family on 4/2/24Lumen Field - Seattle

Parking and food cost more than our 4 club seat tickets. Make it hard to enjoy multiple events a year. Lumen was clean, food was good, show was great.

    Merch stands

by MP on 4/2/24Lumen Field - Seattle

Great show, it’s changed a lot since I was a kid. Shout out to the worker who helped my mother who was scrambling to find a stuffed car for my son. They told her to go to the other side for a specific one and she walked all the way over there and the line was crazy. She went back to the original stand and gave a little please and they pulled out the stuffed car from behind the glass for her. Was very nice.

    Monster Jam was a blast!

by Rebecca on 4/2/24Lumen Field - Seattle

We had alot of fun at Monster Jam! The big arena setting allowed for a big course with lots of ramps and obstacles and a huge space for these trucks to zoom around. I'm glad we did have an open air big arena because it's loud, some dust, some exhaust, but the open air helped! We saw tons of action, tricks, backflips, flipped over trucks (which probably isn't the intent but made for great excitement!) I wish they had more merch booths to cut the line back and of course things were expensive... all in all, a great time!

    Good experience

by Shelia on 4/2/24Freedom Hall - Louisville

The show was great. The PA system was horrible & you couldn’t understand what was being said. The credit card machines didn’t work very well so lines didn’t move quickly. Some people chose not to continue to wait for card machine to work. The vendor/concession was too close together as you couldn’t figure out which line was for what. Plenty of empty space in concourse that vendors should’ve been set up away from concession stands. Would’ve loved to have an option like Gatorade for a drink instead of pop, water, beer. Staff was very friendly.

    Lackluster

by Constellation on 4/2/24Freedom Hall - Louisville

Too much time between the competitions. Lots of waiting around. Free style was just okay. No big flips or jumps. Lots of mechanical breaks downs and getting pulled off. Eh, probably won’t go again. My 13 y/o grandson was even bored.

    Great event

by Bn on 4/2/24Lumen Field - Seattle

Great event but parking was an absolute nightmare. Took over an hour to find any parking because there was over 3 events including this taking place at the exact same time. Missed half of our event, which is disappointing for the kids. Overall event great, venue 👎🏼

The seats we had should not exist!

by Sivan on 4/2/24Lumen Field - Seattle

Literally, we were up so high, I felt gravity pulling me down the 200 stairs I just climbed! My kid was crying the whole time and I had to hug the lady letting me in to my seat bc I was so terrified! I noticed the people seated lower were sitting at a more level angle. We wanted seats farther away on purpose bc of the noise. I just didn't realize we'd be punished for it! This seating is all but vertices straight up. That ruined the whole show for us. Not being late bc we were stuck in 3 hours of traffic when we live 20 mins away, not the fact that we had to walk 2 miles in sandals from our parking garage, but this!
