About

About the Super Bowl Experience Driven by Hyundai

While the Super Bowl is the main attraction, the week leading up to the big game is always full of events and pop-ups throughout the host city. Among the many press conferences, parties, and other minutiae of Super Bowl week, this year you'll be able to find the Super Bowl Experience, Driven by Hyundai. This interactive "theme park" allows fans at the event to become a part of Super Bowl history with many games and exhibits, as well as giving them the chance to test their footballing skills.

That Super Bowl history is in full effect at the Super Bowl Experience, as the Vince Lombardi trophy will be on display for fans to take photos with throughout the week. Fans can also take an up-close and personal look at all 52 Super Bowl rings to date, from the Green Bay Packers' Super Bowl 1 jewelry to the ones worn by the Philadelphia Eagles after their Super Bowl LII victory over the New England Patriots.

If that's not enough, current and former NFL players will be on hand to take photographs and sign autographs for those in attendance. And if you think you can join their ranks, the Experience offers the Combine Corner, which puts fans through some of the same drills that incoming rookies go through at the pre-draft Combine.

Finally, fans will get a behind-the-scenes look at interviews with players and celebrities in attendance, as hosted by the NFL Network. All of this adds up to a comprehensive view of how Super Bowl week comes together, from the players to the media to the historical overtones of the event. And of course, the NFL Shop at Super Bowl will be open, so fans can scoop up souvenirs to commemorate their time at the big game.

    Fun, but worth it?

by jbw166 on 3/14/19Georgia World Congress Center - Atlanta

My wife and I decided to visit a friend that lived in Atlanta for the weekend to get the Super Bowl atmosphere experience. My wife is a Patriots fan but we couldn’t afford the $2700/ticket cost to the game so we figured we would do as much of the free/affordable stuff as we could, that included the Super Bowl Experience Presented by Hyundai. While the event was fun, getting into the event was not. Our local friend decided to join us and told us that if we got off at the MARTA stop after the arena it should be less crowded. He was right. Plus there was a second entrance and security line that had less people. We thought we were good. Nope. After walking for what felt like forever we were directed out the exit and back to, you guessed it, the main entrance and MARTA stop we were trying to avoid. Then we had to wait an HOUR in ANOTHER security line to get in. What a joke. The hour wait wasn’t really even worth it. The waits for every experience in the event was over an hour too and the thing closed at like 7pm that day. Not really sure if it was worth the $40pp to be honest.

    Just ok

by RetailTherapist on 2/10/19Georgia World Congress Center - Atlanta

At the outset, I must say the Concept of The Super Bowl Experience is Great. It was very inviting from the outside, and getting to the venue via Marta was seamless. However, our personal experience onsite was not so great. The wait times were extremely long for most attractions, despite the fact that we attended early in the day. For instance, we stood in line for an hour and 45 minutes to take a picture with the Heisman Trophy. While waiting in line, we kept getting pressured to download the NFL app, which made me rather uncomfortable, given the prospect of using public wifi over unsecured networks in that type of setting. One member of our party had a personal hotspot and downloaded the app. We found the app to be useless and it added nothing to help us maximize our time at the venue. In anticipation of the crowds, we attempted to get "fast passes" for certain features, such as the Heisman Trophy photo op, but such passes were all sold out. Most of the highlights seemed to be geared toward smaller children, and that's great for those with young ones, but for the more "seasoned" visitors, there really wasn't much to pursue. The NFL Shop had 20 registers, but directions to the actual checkout point were obscure. The store space in particular was too small for the crowd volume and the merchandise was too crammed. On the plus side, it was a nice token to get a complimentary collectible NFL tote bag with purchases. Better signage would have helped in the store area. On a positive note, however, the volunteers at the venue were very helpful and energetic! They greeted us warmly throughout our course and were very knowledgeable. Finally, in the future, the website needs to entail specific expectations for personal belongings at the security checkpoints at the entrance. For example, it's understandable if "no outside food or drinks are allowed," but if there are restrictions on strollers, book bags, handbags, etc., that should be Clearly indicated on the website and perhaps reinforced in writing on signs leading up to the entrance.

    Simply Awesome

by Rox7 on 2/8/19Georgia World Congress Center - Atlanta

Initially I was not going to attend the Super Bowl Experience, because I felt it was going to be over crowded. I was totally wrong, the day my family and I attended was not crowded and the guys were able to do the activities they wanted, without extremely long lines. Thanks Atlanta, for such a great job!
