    Total let down..

    by Stephanie on 4/15/24

I hate to say it, because I LOVED Mindfreak years ago and was looking so forward to finally seeing it live on my first trip to Vegas, but this was a major let down. Major washed up rock star vibe who spent at least half the show reminding us why he was a big deal, playing old clips of the “hay days” and accolades. There were only a handful of actual tricks, and a few of them you could pretty easily spot the “tells”. The rest of the show was spent in a try-too-hard, cringeworthy attempt at a comedy show, clearly highly rehearsed. It was all very cheesy, left much to be desired, and ultimately left us bummed we missed out on one of the other great show options while we were in town.. 😕

    Amazing

by Tina on 4/15/24Criss Angel Theater at Planet Hollywood - Las Vegas

Chris Angel is amazing, this was my third time seeing him an it just keeps getting better. I loved how he interacted with the audience. He got really personal. I’d see him for the forth time.

    Criss Angel was great!

by Suzy Minnesota on 4/15/24Criss Angel Theater at Planet Hollywood - Las Vegas

We went in with mixed feelings because of some unfavorable reviews. I kept an open mind and loved the show and so did my boyfriend. The high energy heavy metal vibe was awesome…and I’m 60 years young! Criss gets the place rocking with great illusions, pyro tech, light show and humor.

    Incredible, and Aspiring

by Cat on 4/14/24Criss Angel Theater at Planet Hollywood - Las Vegas

To begin, I got upgradaded in my seats, which made my first trip to Vegas even better, and the show that more amazing. The music, with a live guitarist, the pyrotechnics, the costumes were incredible. The magic beyond anything you could ever imagine. As for Chris Angel, he is a great magician, funny, and his story of his life..wow. It's very inspirational, he rose above it all, and he is so good to his audience, and the story his child had me in tears, but they overcame, and he was so charitable towards children makes him that more amazing giving the children magic kits. Inspiring them to try new things, and that they can achieve it. I'll be going every time I come to Vegas!!!

    Great but…

by Thierry on 4/14/24Criss Angel Theater at Planet Hollywood - Las Vegas

It’s a rock show with some very great magic moments (beginning and end of the show are incredible). Great light, video and sounds. But … half the show is only speaking without magic but moral messages and jokes about the audience !!!

    Less Talking, More Magic

by MetalChick on 4/14/24Criss Angel Theater at Planet Hollywood - Las Vegas

This was my second time seeing Criss Angel Mindfreak, and I was excited to revisit the show. Unfortunately, Criss spent about 30 of the 90 minutes bantering with the audience. About 5 minutes of it would have been fun and endearing, the other 25 were just grating. When Criss performed his illusions and magic, they were great. I just wish there had been as much magic/illusion as the first performance I saw, because he is the best.

Too much bla bla with the audience and self promotion

by Mark on 4/14/24Criss Angel Theater at Planet Hollywood - Las Vegas

Very disappointing, waste of money. He tried to become a comedian. Too much conversation with the audience and promotion of hisself and his child cancer charity program. Better directly donate your money to a charity organization than to going into this show.

I wish I did not go

by JimLosAngeles on 4/10/24Criss Angel Theater at Planet Hollywood - Las Vegas

I realized after the show started that this was not David Blaine and illusions. It was a goth theatrical show with some illusions and a bunch of ego stroking (as many performers in Las Vegas are apt to do). There were about 3 great illusions. The rest of the show was a mix of comedy, bantering and some average illusions. Unfortunately some illusions were broken where you could see him "disappear"if you had seats at the side. I recommend you don't get seats near the side edges as you are dependent on a cameraman and viewing in a video screen, and you can't actually see the screens well from the edge. We had a party of 7 attend so some of us could see well enough but the 2 people on the far edge missed some of the show. My opinion is to see David Blaine , and I will when I go back to Vegas again soon, unless you want a rock and roll/goth/magic experience then Chriss is your man.
