AJR IN CONCERT:

New York-based brother band AJR is generating significant buzz with their unique blend of barbershop harmonies, dubstep beats, and internet-savvy lyrical references. The trio's success with debut single "I'm Ready" has inevitably drawn comparisons to fellow brother outfit Hanson, but AJR's eclectic sound and DIY approach put them in a category all their own. From bright handclaps and playful samples to energetic ukulele and guitar strumming, AJR have crafted an endlessly creative sound that always leaves fans wanting more on their unforgettable tours. 

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

AJR is comprised of brothers Adam, Jack, and Ryan Met. The native New Yorkers got their start as street performers, playing covers of songs by the Beach Boys and Vampire Weekend in parks around Manhattan. The brothers released their  debut single "I'm Ready" in 2013, tweeting it out to a number of celebrities in the hopes of getting discovered. The tactic worked -- the song caught the eye of SIA, who helped AJR secure a management deal. As the group's reputation continued to grow, they made their first TV appearances with performances on Good Day New York and VH1's Big Morning Buzz show. In late 2013 AJR released the I'm Ready EP, a solid debut that earned them opening slots on tour with big-name acts like Demi Lovato and the Wanted. A rising young act with talent to the gills, AJR have ticket buyers eagerly awaiting their upcoming tour dates.

    I've never been to an AJR show before but I knew that they went above and beyond to create high quality experiences for their fans. This show was no exception. They really have a way of creating entertaining shows. It was just amazing! Will definitely be seeing them again

    Seen them in concert last year in OKC and so this year we seen them in Kansas City at T Mobile arena that was probably the most awesome concert I have been to. I am 49 and been to alot of concerts and this one blew them out of the water. The only thing my daughter wishes she had bought the yellow sweater and now you cant buy them online because they are a concert only item. and there was at least 300 people in the merch line before the concert and at least that after and we didnt wait and now regreting it. but other wise awesome concert

    AJR has always put so much thought, care, skill, and talent into every tour they've done, and yet, they get bigger and better each time. This is their most theatrical and captivating show to date. The attention to making the fans' experience the best possible is icing on the cake!

    Took my 10 year old daughter to the show last minute since she lives AJR and introduced them to me- we had a great time dancing and singing along :) enjoyed al they put into it and the new going message :)

    Amazing show AJR!!

    Awesome show and production. Sound quality was outstanding. Floor seats and could still see everything perfectly. Took my younger 8yr. old daughter for her 9th Birthday. She loved every single second of the performance! Thanks AJR for the memories and thanks to T-Mobile for making a safe environment for all the young kids that attended! ❤️😎
