I had never seen Adam Trent but had a positive experience seeing the illusionist in Las Vegas and at the Magic Parlor in Chicago. An illusionist in Grand Junction could be fun so I bought tickets for 4. Who knew half of it would be a singer in ball gowns singing strange tempo renditions of classics . I watched a short YouTube video of Mt Trent before buying the tickets. He performed the same thing without the acrylic suitcase. Then she sang. It was kind of disappointing but Adam has the potential to become an entertaining powerhouse with more substance to his live act. I think he should spend less time showing videos of his act and more time with live illusions.

The show overall was pretty good, the seating issue however was not so great. thumbs down on that big time. They shifted us to different seats than we purchased and then tried to move us all the way to the back when we actually bought 2nd row seats. We had to end up taking someone elses seats in the 2nd row and that poor group got moved to the back.
Seating in a flat multipurpose room, paying to have someones head blocking your view sucks! If your not in the first five rows center stage Don't go!
My whole group loved it-it was literally magical! A well rounded show done by a fantastic entertainer. I would go back many times if I could.
Fantastic! I laughed at the banana trick 'til my sides hurt. I was so moved by Evie Clair's O Holy Night I cried! If Adam was aiming to inducing a state of wonder in the audience, he definitely hit the mark. Don't miss this show even if the weather is horrendous. It's worth a drive through the pouring rain. It was better than Cats!
