The show was really really cute! Could barely hear the actors though bc of all the screaming kids! My boyfriend had to leave bc it was too hot in the theater and he couldn’t understand either. I loved to concept of it soo much! It was very cute over all!!!
Well, the actors I think did a good job. It can't be easy pretending to be an oversized stuffed animal, and they did that well. The story line itself was blase' and my 4.5 year old was more interested in playing with her watch than the play itself. The kicker was the VIP experience where everyone had to put on a mask and walk on stage for a 2-second photo with the actors standing 5 feet behind, also masked. I didn't understand that part. Who's going to post that?? Anyway, I spent $300 for good seats and found it to be disappointing. The Parker Playhouse is nice though, and their employees were very nice, too.
The characters microphone was literally not working through half the performance. Aside from that the storyline was boring to the point where my 4 year old asked when we could leave.
Couldn’t understand the characters, songs were terrible, didn’t even have a good Winnie the Pooh song, slow moving and boring, neighbor’s daughter couldn’t get through it, our son was bored, recommend if you like sleeping in public spaces.
The show was ok but the sound was so so low you couldn’t hear anything it was hard for the kids to follow along when you didn’t know what was going in
Awful. The sound quality was simply awful. I could not hear anything Pooh and friends were saying. I missed the story line as a result and only really understood that Pooh got himself stuck in a tree. As a result of listening to Pooh and friends through what can only be described as AV equipment the local Middle School had donated (after 30 years of stewardship) the audience became very annoyed. In fact, I have been to sports events with 80,000 beer drinking fans who have made less noise than 300 or so kids being frustrated (and eating sugary treats through boredom). It was a hostile crowd. At one point I saw a Swedish fish fly from row Z to row G. The kid next to me actually watched Paw Patrol on his mother's I phone and I managed to count to 8,763. Tigger was a bit clearer than Pooh, he often bounced onto the stage to the sound of applause. I personally thought that it was because people thought he would do something funny to get the crowd back onside, he didn't though. He was just Tigger. He really is a bit impressionable to be honest. I expected more. I would have loved him to hide some honey at the request of Eeyore of something. In short, I felt like I was on a bad mushroom trip in the middle of a department store toy department on Christmas Eve. Very loud, lots of colour, kids screaming, oversized puppets and strange props.
A friend and I took our two 4 1/2 year olds to this event and it was a horrible experience. Nearly all of the children in the audience were either talking, crying, or complaining and no effort was made by the ushers to encourage a quiet environment. The actors’ voices were very muffled and nearly impossible to understand. Between the loud noise in the theater and the poor sound system on stage, we could only hear every few words. In addition, the story line was unclear and difficult to follow. It was not entertaining for small children and our two kids were bored and asking to go home after the first 5 minutes. For a children’s show, this was anything but child friendly. All in all, a waste of the 3 hours in travel and of the money spent on tickets. I do not recommend this show at all, your kids are better off watching a lively and entertaining tv show from the comfort of their own homes.
It was only an hour long and the microphones were hard to hear and understand
The play was very amateurish. Actors’ speech was unclear and the sound system wasn’t good. Very noisy and full of shouting kids. Not worth the time or money.
