Vampire Weekend is a two-time Grammy-winning alternative rock band currently composed of frontman Ezra Koenig, bassist Chris Baio and drummer Chris Tomson. Emerging from the mid-aughts indie rock scene in New York City out of Columbia University, Vampire Weekend released their self-titled debut to immediate critical and commercial success in 2008, with the album debuting at No. 17 on the Billboard 200 and its breakout single “A-Punk” earning an RIAA platinum certification. The band’s 2010 follow-up Contra confirmed their ascent after debuting atop the Billboard 200, while the single “Cousins” became their first song to hit the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart. The band’s 2013’s effort Modern Vampires of the City similarly topped the Billboard 200 and garnered the band’s first Grammy Award. 2019’s Father of the Bride became their third album to debut at No. 1, and the album’s high watermark came from lead single “Harmony Hall,” which reached a career-best No. 5 on the Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart. The album netted the band its second Grammy, and Vampire Weekend’s 2019 North American tour saw the band perform some of their biggest shows to date, including Madison Square Garden in New York.

Our views were behind the band, but because of the open set and their acknowledgement of those people behind them, made it even more awesome. You got to experience the show throught Vampire Weekend's view.
The band.. the venue... can't get enough of the Bowl! Best concert there yet.
Great show! My wife and I arrived during an opening act, and sitting in one of the back sections, we were a little worried about the sound, which we've had issues with before at the very back of the Bowl. This act sounded a little muddy. But when Vampire Weekend took the stage, those fears quickly went away. Great sound quality, lots of music from the new album (loved hearing "Sympathy" live), and pretty much every older Vampire Weekend song I wanted to hear, including "Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa," "Cousins," "Diane Young," "Oxford comma," "Hannah Hunt," "A-Punk," and many more. The night was lovely, the food at the Bowl was decent (although, HB, your systems for ordering could use some updates and revamping. Even with the electronic kiosks to place orders, distributing food is more crowded and confusing than it needs to be. A loudspeaker for one of the servers to announce the name for the order, rather than yelling it into the crowd from the counter, would be a simple improvement), and the show was really satisfying and fun.
This band has not toured for years prior to this tour and they did not let down at all. It felt like hit after hit after hit. Truly an amazing performance. I have been to many concerts and festivals and I have a deep appreciation for this band. If you get a chance to see them, don’t hesitate!
Vampire Weekend is well worth the wait, I love that they have a different setlist every night, they played for a good 2 1/2 hours. If you like them they are worth the wait. They were at Bill Graham Civic in SF which is my least favorite venue but Vampire Weekend was worth it.
Loved, loved, loved VW's concert last Wednesday!!! Their energy, their inclusiveness towards the crowd, just everything about the whole night! Such a fun time!!
Great night at a super venue. The band sounded just like they do on CD. And so much interaction with the crowd. So fun.
one of the best concerts and venues I’ve ever been to🥰🥰🥰🥰
vampire weekend delivered! had a blast the whole 3.5hrs of the show. literally everybody was dancing and singing. best concert experience ever in the hollywood bowl.
