The Gamecocks women’s basketball team is coming off their best season in school history after winning the 2017 NCAA National Championship, their first in schools history. Head Coach, Dawn Staley, has built a perennial powerhouse, making one South Carolina one of the elite teams in women’s college basketball year after year. Colonial Life Arena has been home to the Gamecocks basketball program since 2002. With a seating capacity of 18,000, it is one of the largest college basketball venues in the country.

by Angel on 3/4/24...Until 2 years ago when I found out my fiancee is a great fan of Coach Staley and her girls. I didn't know it was so easy to get tickets. Now I have been buying tickets with easy and surprising him with tickets for the last to years. I feel like a reborn gamecock!

They have definitely upgraded the arena to a level comparable with NBA arenas and I love to see it! They do a great job of keeping the crowd entertained. Would definitely recommend going to a basketball game here!
