About

The Irish are coming! The Irish are coming! Northern Irish dance-punk trio Two Door Cinema Club have stormed the urban scene with their fresh indie new-wave sound. Think of them as your ticket to catchy dance music without the guilt.

If you've been to any cool-kid parties with plenty of PBR or watched a Microsoft Outlook commercial you've heard Two Door Cinema Club. The debut single "Something Good Can Work" was originally released in 2009 on a trend-setting compilation from fashion house/record label Maison Kitsunè. If you can't remember it catch it on Youtube (it has nearly 15 million views).

Following in the footsteps of French dance-pop phenomena Phoenix and '80s icon Duran Duran, Two Door Cinema Club recorded their debut 2010 album Tourist History at Eastcote Studios in London. Mixed by Phillip Zdar, his vision was to  punch up the beat with rich bass and foot-stomping rhythm. While on tour with Alt-J, Chvrches, Peace and St Lucia, stopping a venues like Fillmore (Philadelphia), their live sets turned into impromptu dance parties, not even the most passive fans couldn't resist the groove.

Their sophomore album Beacon, produced by Jacknife Lee was released in September 2012 and reached No. 17 on the U.S. Billboard 200 with  singles" Sleep Alone" and "Sun." Well thought hooks, good beats, and fearless when it comes to having fun, Two Door Cinema Club is going to have many honorary members wanting to join in.

    Everything I Expected

by Amber on 9/21/19The Danforth Music Hall - Toronto

I traveled specifically to Toronto to see Two Door Cinema Club because I've been wanted to see them for ages! The venue was great (Danforth Music Hall). The the music was loud and the floor shook from the bass. I now understand why people wear ear plugs...it was that loud!!! The band...they were so interactive with the crowd. They had a great mix of old and their new album. I love their their new album...but it was only released two months ago soooo...not everyone has had a chance to love it. They played their hits...well when I say hits...its the hits to those that like/love and listen to this band. Also...the crowd was great...I hate it when you have bad vibes from others attending. I love this band and they were just as good in person as they are on thier actual albums!

We had GA tickets and was planning on arriving three hours before the doors open to ensure a good standing spot (I am short). We arrive and there were probably about 25 people ahead of us. An employee came around about an hour after we were waiting, letting us know that we have the option to move to a shorter line which they would let in first if we bought $30 worth of food, drink, or merchandise. This REALLY pissed me off because how are they going to let people with free money to spend go in to the venue first than those who lined up several hours before the start of the show to get a good spot on the floor??? Anyway, they were let in first and then the line that we remained in was next. Still got a good spot on the floor, I don't think it was worth it for those who paid for the shorter line. The people who were in front of me in my line switched over to the shorter line but when everyone was let in to the venue, there was a very minimal difference from where they were at and from where I was at.

Two Door Cinema Club were great!

    by magicsalsa804 on 10/4/17Electric Factory - Philadelphia

This was my first time both seeing TDCC live and attending a show at the Electric Factory and my experience was great! We got there extremely early as the show was originally going to be held at the Mann Center and we were unaware the showtime was moved later into the night. After exploring the city a bit we made it to the venue where the staff was very friendly! The show was great, we watched the performance from the balcony and there were several TVs broadcasting the performance so we didn't miss a thing! All in all, Wonderful time and would definitely do it again!

    FANTASTIC

    by nickname1234554321 on 10/3/17Electric Factory - Philadelphia

We were waiting for too long between the opening act and Two Door Cinema Club, but besides that, the show was excellent. The energy of the crowd was incredible and I didn't want the show to end. They are my favorite band, so I guess I'm a little biased, but overall, it was an incredibly show. I would highly recommend it to anyone who considers themselves a fan.

    TDCC in St. Louis (finally!)

by CrudeJude2 on 10/1/17The Pageant - St Louis

Two Door Cinema Club gave a GREAT show for their first visit to St. Louis. I have seen them in NYC twice, and was delighted to welcome them to my home town. The crowd was energetic and receptive; most around us knew every word to the songs. It was great to see them appreciated and so well received. The band sounded great, and played all the songs I was hoping to hear. Such a Tuesday night treat.

by MikkiMtz on 9/30/17The Pageant - St Louis

This was my second time seeing Two Door Cinema and it was just as good as the first concert. I was able to see them a few years ago in Mx and then again in my hometown St. Louis! Wooh was I excited. Thanks so much guys for coming and for a fun night! The Pageant was nice and clean. Would definitely go again! Great time, unforgettable moments.

One of the best shows I've been to in a long time!

by Anonymous on 9/30/17The Pageant - St Louis

The light show and the stage looked incredible and really added to the experience. The band members didn't move around too much but the music sounded spot on and amazing so it made up for it.

2 Door Cinema Club (st louis pageant)

by OLBaID on 9/30/17The Pageant - St Louis

Loved 2 door for some time and have heard others say their live shows are great. This was an understatement as Alex's voice, the bands skill level and the lights made this the best show i have seen this year (out of 6 so far). The Crowd was really into singing along and dancing and just a great atmosphere. I hope they come back soon as I will go again! Pageant servers are the worst, this place beyond being on Delmar is a joke. Crappy service and offerings of anything. Glad the show was nice as this place really is bad due to their workers.

    Best concert ever!

    by TDCCNumber1Fan on 9/16/17State Theatre - Portland

I enjoyed the good set list, display of lights, mood and energy very much. These are extraordinary and very talented musicians. Totally worth driving 4 hours. The venue was small and very intimate. Circa Waves got me pumped up after opening.
