Venue
Formed in 2008 in Austin, TX, by Chad Cisneros and David Reed, Tritonal are one of the most successful US electronic music duos of the past decade, today counting nearly 1B collective streams across their discography, which comprises three artist albums, +200 originals and remixes, and six Top 10 hits on Billboard's electronic charts.
In May 2011, Tritonal released their debut album, 'Piercing the Quiet,' one of their first successes. They followed up with the three-part 'Metamorphic' EP series (2013-2014), which marked Tritonal's expansion into new genres and featured their breakout hits, "Now or Never" and "Anchor."
In Sept. 2016, Tritonal released their second album, 'Painting With Dreams,' which has garnered +140M streams on Spotify alone. Their third album, 'U & Me' (June 2019), which features collaborations with Sultan + Shepard, platinum singer-songwriter Mozella and multi-platinum artist Rachel Platten, reached the Top 10 on Billboard's Dance/Electronic Album Sales chart. Tritonal's 4th and most recent album was released at the beginning of 2021 as an hour long meditation piece. Unique to their existing catalog, Reverence was made in the height of the pandemic from more of a calling than anything else to serve their fans and provide art with a motive of introspection. 'Coalesce' shortly followed as the duos 5th LP, showcasing a true emergence both sonically and creatively.
Cisneros and Reed are also co-owners of the tastemaker label Enhanced Music, which counts nearly 2,000 releases since its launch in 2008. Dubbed "the label that delivers tune after tune" by Mixmag, Enhanced now embarks on their 15th year as a label, celebrating with a national tour both for Tritonal and their labelmates.
In addition to 'Tritonia,' their globally streamed weekly radio show, Tritonal have headlined the world's leading festivals, including EDC Las Vegas, Lollapalooza, and Ultra Music Festival.
15 years of amazing music. Thank you for signing my flag. Best night of my life.
So the venue is gorgeous, the crowd was fairly well behaved. Breakbomb was awesome. Kid has talent for sure. I was very excited to see Tritonal until one of them did the illuminati symbol. Then a few moments later, he did it again. Completely disappointed and will never give them another dime of my money. We left immediately.
I've seen Tritonal in Boston 4 times now I believe. Great show everytime. Farius was also amazing. Already looking forward to the next time they are in Boston.
Wow. The live energy is completely different from what you hear from your headphones. Must see in person. I love the music that they make
It was just mind blowing amazing. Fantastic music and great venue.
Great show, great vibe, good people. I've seen Tritonal 3 times, always amazing, look forward to seeing them again!
Never have I ever been told “doors open at 9, show starts at 9” along with zero information about opening acts or set times. I was planning an evening for a very large group. I both called and emailed and got no answers.
Cosmic Gate and Tritonal were awesome. It was great to be back at Echostage for the first time in 15 months. Looking forward to the next show.
For the first 2.5 hours of the event, there was an unnamed opener DJ that played pretty much elevator music with no lights, no visuals, no energy. Cosmic gate played for 1.5 hours and Tritonal played for 1 hour. There was no theme, just random visuals on the screen that didn’t have anything to do with the actual songs being played. Half the club wasn’t even dancing and was checking their email and Instagram because it was so lacking in energy.
Got to hear all of my favorite things from them I would go again.
