Seeing The Price Is Right Live is a little bit like being reunited with a childhood friend. Anyone who grew up anywhere near a TV from the early 1970s onward probably has the classic game show embedded forever in their consciousness; seeing it play out in front of you (and maybe even taking part) can be a thrillingly surreal experience. But it's much more than just a nostalgia trip. Whether you're a lifelong fan of the show or it's your first exposure to the whole concept, the stage version of The Price Is Right is an enormous amount of fun, with random audience members picked to compete for cash and prizes by playing challenges like Plinko, The Big Wheel and The Showcase. If you're among the lucky attendees who get the famous call to "Come on down!" you just might feel a little chill go up your spine. But even if you aren't, it's still a blast to be part of the whole thing as it happens.

In 1972, a part of TV history began its journey with the premier of The Price Is Right on CBS. When contestants heeded host Bob Barker's iconic call to "Come on down!" and take part in what has become one of America's most beloved game shows, a legacy started that would last for decades to come. The Price Is Right is one of the most popular, longest-running TV shows ever, so it's not surprising that it spawned a stage version in 2002.     There was never a dull moment. I never felt like I was going to fall asleep from boredom. The announcer had lots of energy which gave me kept me engaged. The trivial questions were wonderful. I plan to go again in Nashville.

    Awesome Experience

    Truthfully, I went to this event alone and had a blast. I cannot wait until the next show in Durham. The venue was sold out and the host ensured that the entire show was interactive with the audience. It may not have been the legendary Bob Barker but it was close enough in energy and excitement.

    Loved the show

    I had been to the Harrah's at Cherokee,NC show. Loved it. Took a 85 yr old friend that love the show. We had a great time. Would have loved for him to be picked for the Plinko game because he likes that game but haven't been chosen. Going in October to the show in Columbia,SC. with my daughter.

    I had been trying to the show before and had a blast so a friend that is 85 loves the show and I decided to take him. We had a great time. It would have been great to be called of course but we enjoyed. Wish he had been called for Plinko because he really likes that game.

    The show was so enjoyable. The host of the show made it so exciting and calm. I will definitely follow them at nearby locations.

    Don't come down

    Only four games were played during the show. The showcase was disappointing because you could only win the entire showcase if you were within 100.00 without going over. Almost impossible. Bad way to end the show.

    Disappointing Ending

    The show was great, fun and exciting until the final showcase. Very disappointing! There's no way they both over bidded. There's no way the prizes totalled $30,000 (car, 2 trips and more). Kind of made the whole show a joke.

    Everything was what I expected and then some. Wish they played more games and gave more people chances. I didn’t get picked but was a great time. Very organized and Todd kept everyone engaged. He’s funny and a great host!
