Superstars come and go. Cher is forever.
For six straight decades, only one unstoppable force has flat-out dominated popular culture — breaking down barriers, pushing boundaries, and letting nothing and no one stand in her way.
The Cher Show is her story, and it's packed with so much Cher that it takes three women to play her: The kid starting out, the glam pop star and the icon. The Cher Show is 35 smash hits, six decades of stardom, two rock-star husbands, a Grammy, an Oscar, an Emmy, and enough Bob Mackie gowns to cause a sequins shortage in New York City, all in one unabashedly fabulous new musical.

The show was outstanding, the costumes were so great, the music, the GREAT DANCERS, The Cher singers, the whole story of her life. LOVED IT
The only problem we had to wait almost 1/2 before being allowed to enter the theater. The show also started late. Loved the show so much. The best was seeing Bob Mackie on stage when the show ended. The costumes were beautiful and he deserved the Tony award. Would have loved Cher to ckme out. Really don't know why it was closing.
Fabulous singing, dancing, acting and great summary of Cher’s life and career!
Second time seeing the show, I brought my husband this time & my friend & we all enjoyed!!!
We traveled to New York City from Rochester, NY just to see this show. Both my niece and I are big Cher fans. The show was not only about Cher's high points, but also her low points. The music was of course wonderful! The actresses were fantastic. At one point I had to look twice to make sure that the real Cher had not stepped onto the stage. Star perfectly portrayed Cher. The show closed on Broadway the day after we saw the show. Hopefully it will be back in other cities. If it comes your way - Go!
I've seen enough live productions -- concerts, theater, panels, speakers, comics, etc. -- to know top tier entertainment when I've experienced it, and "The Cher Show" was exactly that. To see it end its Broadway run so prematurely is heartbreaking, because it is absolutely exceptional. The staging and costuming is second to none, the acting superb, and the music timeless. I defy any theatergoer to leave anything but happy, with music in your heart and feeling inspired. When this show tours, go. In the meantime, download the soundtrack and savor the rich Broadway experience, which was unique and spectacular. My only regret? Not seeing it sooner and repeatedly.
Loved the music, costumes, actors and actresses! One of the best shows I’ve ever seen!
So glad I saw The Cher Show before it closed. Outstanding performances, amazing costumes and a wonderful story. A joyous experience.
The music, lighting, staging sets and costumes were fantastic. The actors were perfectly suited to their roles. We did not want it to end it was so well performed and entertaining.
