The Tennessee Titans used to be called the Houston Oilers — one of the charter teams of the AFL. The Oilers won the first two AFL championships, in 1960 and 1961. In 1997, the Oilers moved to Tennessee, becoming the Tennessee Oilers, before changing their name to the Tennessee Titans in 1999.

Check out the Nissan Stadium seating chart here.

The Tennessee Titans’ biggest rivals are the Houston Texans, Jacksonville Jaguars, and Indianapolis Colts.

The Tennessee Titans played their first and only Super Bowl on January 30, 2000, against the St. Louis Rams. Unfortunately, the Titans were defeated (23-16) in a game that is considered by many to be an all-time classic. Super Bowl XXXIV is also famous for being referred to as the "Dot-Com Super Bowl" due to the heavy amount of dot-com ads.

    Awesome Game

    by PhillyFan2018 on 10/3/18Nissan Stadium - Nashville

Great seats, great view, Awesome Stadium. So far the best stadium that I've attended. Both fans well behave...only negative side, no usher were available to assist you with the seating...will go back and see The Eagles again in Nashville....

    Coldest Game Ever

by PhotoNinja on 1/15/18Nissan Stadium - Nashville

The game itself was pretty crazy because it was week 17 with two teams that actually went to the Playoffs and even advanced a round. Titans needed to win to get in, so it basically was a playoff game in advance for all intensive purposes. I was just traveling through. The game itself was decent, but I could NOT believe how cold it was in Nashville, TN and I have been to other games in both Pittsburgh and New York. I wore 4 layers and my toes STILL almost froze off and the beer was turning to slush before I could even drink it. The announcer said it was the coldest game on record ever played in the Titans stadium...15 degrees. Watched with 3 buddies and the home team got the win so it was pretty fun indeed. Quite an experience!

Nissan Stadium-the good, the bad, and the ugly

by JessieTheTitanFan on 1/3/18Nissan Stadium - Nashville

Nissan Stadium as well as the game were amazing! I loved the stadium for it's seating and venue. It didn't mater where you sat the view was wonderful (which was great since we sat at the very top). They had eateries, bathrooms, and merchandise on every level of stadium seating which was extremely convenient. I give the stadium a 10 out of 10. Now for the bad, although this was not in anyway the fault of the venue/game the weather was horrible. We had to leave at half-time because we could no longer feel our hands and feet. I wouldn't even mention this since weather can't be controlled but seeing as how they knew in advance how cold it would be it would be reasonable, in my opinion, to be more prepared. They sold out of every scarf, toboggan, hand warmer, and gloves within 10 minutes of the game starting. I would have thought they would have had more available since they knew how cold it was going to be. Again, this was a minor inconvenience and they can't control the weather so it's not a major issue. Finally (and this is the one thing that I had a real issue with) being picked up by a taxi/lyft/uber was darn near impossible. First, we had to search for the designated area to be picked up at. There weren't any signs or anything until we actually made it to the spot, I had to ask 5 people were to go before I actually stumbled upon it. Secondly, there was no order. People were cutting each other off, there wasn't a line to get a taxi, and it was basically just really chaotic. I understand the need for having a place to pick up and drop off but it would be a lot better if there had been some organization to it all. Anyway, all in all it was a really good game. My only complaint was the transportation area. I would recommend this place and venue to anyone, especially since I've been there now and know how to get around a little better.

    Titans vs. Texans

by PapaNLC on 12/7/17Nissan Stadium - Nashville

There is nothing like football in the stadium experience. Exciting game, great result - a big win! Not a bad seat in the house. Crowd noise caused three false starts by the opponent in a row at a critical time in the game. You just have to experience it. Late in the season now. Every win counts big.

The game. the food, & the stadium was great. My only complaint is that Ticketmaster doesn't let you print your tickets when you need to do it. Both games I've attended I could not print my tickets until about 30 hours or less before the event when Ticketmaster tells you they can be printed at 48 hours, which is silly in the first place. .

    Titans vs Teaxans

by Opryland on 12/6/17Nissan Stadium - Nashville

Visiting the city of Nashville , The stadium was great , good sight lines , good beer , drinks , food awesome , but the Titans are BORING to watch , run , run , run , and the QB does a check down on 90% of passing plays - They win ,which is the bottom line , but as a spectator please open it up, how about some passing up field , you might score more than 17 pts a game. I rather see the predators when in Nashville.

    Bengals Titans Game

    by ukisn1 on 11/15/17Nissan Stadium - Nashville

Parking was easy. Getting in and out of Stadium was non-problematic. Seats were in 300 Section but had good site lines. Concessions were near and prices, like most stadiums, were high. Good selection of items, though. Security were friendly and helpful.

    Great Game titans !!

by KYHomeboy on 11/8/17Nissan Stadium - Nashville

Beautiful day @ Nissan Field. Temperature up to 80. Mostly Sunny. Breezy. Good, close game from start to finish. Seats were on visitors side, & we were surrounded by Ravens fans. They were great. Titans Homecoming with Players & Cheerleaders from years past and the tribute to Steve McNair with his 2 sons coming onto the field. Awesome Day! Oh yeah, did I mention - the Titans won, 23 - 20 . . . . . . . . .

    Nissan Stadium was Awesome!!

by Karenkoz on 10/19/17Nissan Stadium - Nashville

We were vacationing in Nashville from Boston and took in the game. Beautiful weather in October with a gorgeous view of the Nashville skyline from your seats. Fan friendly venue with music playing from the moment you cross the bridge until you leave for the night. A great band was doing a tribute to the late great Tom Petty. Good food, giveaways, Trace Adkins performed the National Anthem and again at half-time. The Titans actually beat the Colts for a change! Even though I am a Patriot's fan through and through, it was good to see the home team win!

    Poor Stadium access and egress

by JackCarlson on 9/29/17Nissan Stadium - Nashville

Worst stadium I have ever been in. Very poor design. Ushers gave me wrong information three times where my seats were. You have to go all the way out to get to the other side. You can't get from the 100 level to the 200 level without going all the way out.

Awesome! Weather was a little warm but the stadium is definitely a must see! Guess I’m spoiled having the superdome as a stadium!
