I love his music lawd it touches my soul i just wish stage sound was better.

I am reading the other reviews and I don't totally agree. The sound system was fine (not the best) but fine. I went to this same show at the Humble Civic Center and it was horrible! The sound system at NRG Arena is bad a well and for some reason they hold the H-Town Blues Fest. there ever year. Plus the seat are all jacked up. But that is a different review. This show was actually good. I also was disappointed that Sir Charles Jones was not the header as billed. And the fact that he only song 3 songs. And they were the modified version of his songs, really hurt. The kicker -- TK Soul is not a closer!! Every time the crowd starts walking out on him. His music is great -- on the radio. That hype-man DJ with the laptop has to go!! He does more hyping than TK does singing. And TK only sings the hooks of his songs, very disappointing. The other performers were good (Lattimore, J Paul Jr and the Zydeco Nubreeds, Jeter Jones) even the newcomers. Tasha Mac did her thing first time I have seen her perform without Jeter. And it was a new chick, Lacy, who was really good. Tucka was in the audience, I was hoping he got on stage. Like I said the show was good but could have been better - if they stop trying to make TK Soul something he is not.

Overall the concert was okay. It was disappointing to me because I was under the impression that Sir Charles Jones was the Headliner. However, His performance was subpar at best. J Paul Jr., Lattimore, TK Soul, Fat Daddy and the other Performers had Great performances. Thank you

The show started on time the sound was great I had a blast!

Sound equipment was poor most of the show. Way to much profanity. Totally takes away from professionalism and performance. The ladies performance in my opinion was 2/10. Latimore's performance was less than desired as well. Too much talking and not enough singing with most of the performers . The last two main attractions were disappointing also. Out of the many concerts that I've attended over the years this was definitely the worse experience ever. Not exaggerating in the least. In addition too much screwing around (bodily gestures) on stage. As I scanned the audience during the performances I'm sure that some of the younger crowd felt the same.

The concert was a bit unorganized. It was too much going on between performances. The main artist were good as they performed their most popular songs. What I would have done differently was had the other non header artists entertain during the break down of the stage. That way the popular artists could have performed more hits.

The Arena Theater is the worst place to see a concert. & the disrespectful concert goers vaping & blowing the smoke in the next person’s direction. Ridiculous!

The sound system need some MAJOR IMPROVEMENT/UPGRADE

All performers were great I really enjoyed the Concert.

The show was awesome. The venue was even better. I really enjoyed the show. Parking was smooth coming and going. Felt really safe ladies.
