    Shear Madness Always Entertaining

by AntiG on 4/8/18Charles Playhouse Second Stage - Boston

My husband and I saw Shear Madness for the first time in San Francisco about 17 years ago. We couldn't stop taking about how much fun it was. Then, we saw it in Washington, DC with our daughter a few years ago and recently we took our daughter and niece to the show in Boston. It really is fun for the whole family. The jokes are reflective of current times/news and never cease to bring on the laughter. The improv is on-the-spot, as the actors are witty and engaging. The audience is part of the play and that makes it even more entertaining. I can see how this play has lasted for so many years.

Wish I had my $130 back

by Secky on 3/26/18Charles Playhouse Second Stage - Boston

Last minute decision to attend and wasn’t expecting a Broadway show but had hoped it would have been funnier than it was. Individually the characters were funny but together it was a bunch of one liners, yelling and not that funny.

    Madness II

by PapaRetired2010 on 12/12/17Charles Playhouse Second Stage - Boston

We took friends there for first time and they thought it was GREAT! It was the day of a snow storm. I had decent seats on the side table originally however, they were able to upgrade us to the center of the stage 3 rows back due to the storm. My wife and I had been there before of course the actors had changed and some parts were even funnier. Yes some of the lines you could see coming BUT it was still funny the way the actors delivered it. In the second half of the show they really get the audience involved. There were kids there which I believe shouldn't have been some of the things were for the adult audience. However the kids there did good even got involved. Overall the actors were really funny.

    Hilarious!

by Anonymous on 11/14/17Charles Playhouse Second Stage - Boston

Great interactive experience. Paying attention from the start of the show to the end, laughter, laughter, and more laughter, questioning the suspects, the ending oh what a surprise! All amazing. Just hilarious!

Not the first time I"ve see the play. Saw it in DC, and at the Gem when it was here about 20 years ago. Loved the updates and how it always seems to be fresh and contemporary. Great cast! I still think one of the cops did it!

    My Mom enjoyed it!

by Mambolicious on 10/26/17Meadow Brook Theatre - Rochester

This was a birthday gift for my mom who lives in another state. She sent a text during intermission to let me know that it was funny & the audience was involved in solving the mystery. She reached out afterwards to let me know that it was really fun.."A real "whodunit?"
