Seu Jorge Tickets

Sound could be better, sometimes we cold listen to an echo after Seu Jorge voice. Also, I found the communication of the show very little transparent. I only noticed the show was not a regular Seu Jorge concert, but a tribute to Tom Jobim, and together with the Jobim pianist, when I had already purchased the tickets and the full name (Seu Jorge and Daniel Jobim in a tributo to Tom, or something like that) appear on the entrance ticket. And I could listen to the same complaint from many other people in the space, telling they only noticed the confusion after the beggining of the show. Very frustrating at this point, even if the songs were very beautifully performed.

Seu Jorge, Daniel Jobim and the band did not disappoint! Aside of the great selection of Tom Jobim songs they played, the sound and light show were amazing - as is usual in this venue. I did enjoy every song, which were performed with the utmost musical dexterity and quality. Seu Jorge's voice is just out of this world, it has so much color and he plays with the tone and inflections in very short phrases. The whole concert was like a rollercoaster of emotions - and that is exactly how bossa nova can make you feel. On the other hand, the behavior of some members of the audience was a bit disappointing, they were coming in and out of their seats during the performance and couldn't wait until the songs were finished to start applauding and cheering.

After seeing him a few times he is truly a great talent that is a pleasure to see.

Less than 1 h and half of show, I expected more ...

His versions of David Bowie classics is unique and touching. The soul of Bowie’s music communicates through the rhythms of Brazilian guitar.

My appreciation for Seu Jorge deepened tremendously after this performance.He possesses richness of spirit and tender musicianship. I will admit I thought I would hear the songs from Cru, not a tribute to David Bowie. Nonetheless, I am blessed to have witnessed this event.
