It was a great time and my daughter loved the game and being fan appreciation night made the experience even better
We just started coming to the games and thanks to our friends we are now members and looking forward to the future we have already got a lot of stuff from the store and cant wait to see 14 and 51 play..
Great crowd, they make you part of the game. Lots of fun to watch. Great team. Good for whole family.
The sound system in the stadium was obnoxiously loud! The stadium was nice with nice views of the rink however it was really hard to tolerate the sound. Our ears were ringing after the event and my wife experienced vertigo. Measured sound levels were over 110 dB which is at a level that can damage hearing. At times I think the sound approached the threshold of pain.
I love watching especially when there all guarding and passing puck gliding on ice an score! To see them all come together and play like they did great job.
Was a fun game with a lot to do and interact with!
I love hockey its not as aggressive as i thought. It has some exciting moments but the skill of the players and guiding of puck to score is great!
It was easy to get to the event staff was helpful finding our seats and the game was awesome
For the size town of Rockford, the BMO Arena is a surprisingly nice venue of the 6000-6500 size. ALL the sight lines for hockey are clean, and the first floor with the BBQ area is a fun place to drink a quick beverage and not miss any action. Parking in the garage next door is connected by a covered walkway, was a reasonable price of $5. I can see why this was a sellout, and the Rockford fans indeed love their IceHogs.
My family love the icehogs, and ticket master makes it nice and easy to see where your sitting.
We always have a great time watching the Icehogs regardless of the outcome. I would like to ask that more tables be put around the arena so that you can eat or drink away from the seats because you’re just packed in so tight, or supply cup holders that fold in.
The most offense part was the EXTENSIVE wanding of my 7 year old son. Who finds it necessary to scan a child like that for weapons? Then when I was scanning our tickets, an employee came up to me and told me I needed to put my mask on and I said OK but was having a hard time getting my tickets to scan so I was trying to get that done. During this process, he was crowding me and was literally within a foot of me and repeated that I needed to get my mask on 2 more times. Its funny that this was a big deal because 3 of the security team at the door were not wearing masks and the others didn't have their noses covered. Then when we got upstairs, half of the concession staff weren't wearing them properly and that's not to mention the ushers who weren't as well. Basically it was a very unpleasant experience because of their draconian measures for guests and not for staff. Not going back for awhile if ever
Good: Love the arena and the IceHogs. High level hockey. Needs improvement: Acoustics in the arena are bad.
We just moved into the area and this is the first IceHogs game that we went to. Great venue, seats and game. Can't wait to go back again!
Great game also was able to participate in on a on ice activity and even won a gift card.
So many food choices and all the concession associates were super nice. Seats a little uncomfortable but its not really a big deal. That was the 2nd level sections. Great competition and game play. Hammy was awesome! The only in person concern I had was that the music was super loud and I enjoy loud things, but it was almost unbearable. Maybe this was due to the lack of fans in attendance on a Wednesday(but still fun, no lines was nice :) Watching on tv was the last concern was that the tv quitly is very poor. But all in all if your a fan of hockey or not its a hot ticket and worth that short time for the entertainment and service that they offer at BMO. Go Hogs!
It was good to be back in person. It's too bad the processing fees cost so much.
It was O.K. Very disappointed in being to get on line through my phone. Terrible internet connection. Food is also a little overpriced as well.
Excellent hockey, especially for the price, and the venue is very nice - no issues there, thus the overall great rating. But why do the ice crew girls have to be dressed like that? If the guys shoveling-up the ice shavings during play stoppages can do it in regular pants, I think the girls can do the same. That just sends such a bad image to the young girls in the audience, especially those who may already be experiencing body image anxiety.
Awesome seats, game & experience for my son and I. It's a bit of a drive for us but well worth it!
