    Bad

This was a poorly executed event. The VIP was NOT guaranteed.

Fun but VIP was a waste

by Erynbeth on 3/27/18Coca-Cola Roxy - Atlanta

VIP was a joke. All the "guaranteed" perks were not at all guaranteed. The vip bar had horrible lines, so did the psychic. It was quicker to grab a drink down below. If it wasn't for the people I was with and us deciding to get a hotel room for the night, I would have been a total waste of money. If you go, don't waste your money on VIP. The free drink ticket saves you $12 that you could have saved by just paying the $25 general admission. Oh and let's not forget Live Nation charges about $14 in fees on top of that. Not a terrible event, but poorly executed.

Waste of time & money spent.

Unfortunately, this was not the best or even a good experience. I arrived and there was hour+ long wait lines for drinks/food. There were no drink specials offered. So once you've paid your $25, excuse me, $35 to attend, you then were charged large amounts for drinks/food with extremely long wait times to get them. Needless to say, while you're in line for that, you miss quite a few shows that are on the main stage. There were long lines for the vendors or "free" portions such as psychic, caricature drawing etc. so none of that was enjoyed by me or my friends. We did get into the main stage area in time to see the final 3+ performers of the drag show. Let's just say, this could NOT have been the best they could find here in Atlanta to entertain us. Anyway, there was the male strip show after and I don't know where in the world they got these guys. They were physically fine, but unimaginative and stiff in the wrong places. This was a major let down, but lesson learned. I'm sure some folks that were able to partake in some of the activities enjoyed themselves. I did get a good laugh though at the 'entertainment' so I guess they get a star for the giggles. Helpful tip for this again - more staff & vendors for the ladies wanting to actually enjoyed their paid night out.
