About

Paul McCartney has been anything but idle during his post-Beatle years. In 1971 (within one year after the break-up of the Fab Four), McCartney formed the rock band Wings which would go on to produce numerous hit singles and enjoy strong album and ticket sales during the decade of its existence. Wings' most successful and highly acclaimed album, Band on the Run, stayed at the top of the U.S. Charts for four weeks and went triple platinum. Hit songs for the band include "Live and Let Die," "Band on the Run," "Jet," and "Silly Love Songs." McCartney proved, in the '80s, that his popularity with the public was still as strong as ever by embarking on a highly successful solo tour. Memorable collaborative songs were also produced in the '80s--"Say Say Say" and "The Girl is Mine" with Michael Jackson, and "Ebony and Ivory" with Stevie Wonder. In the '90s, he expanded his already impressive musical repertoire by composing two albums of classical works (Standing Stone and Working Classical) recorded by the London Symphony Orchestra and, in the same decade, released an album of ambient, techno music under the pseudonym The Firemen. Other notable albums of his solo career are 1982's Tug of War (recorded with famed Beatles producer George Martin), his 1984 soundtrack for the film Give My Regards to Broad Street (which he also directed), and 1989's Flowers in the Dirt, and 1997's Flaming Pie. McCartney was honored with a Knightship in 1997.

    Tremendous

    by Owen Murphy on 7/25/22

I've heard his voice on YouTube and it's not so great. In person he sounds much, much better. He put on an incredible, long show and his energy is on point for his age. We enjoyed every minute of the "Got Back" show,.

    Stadium Issues

by alhandy11 on 7/25/22MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

The concert was great. Paul put on a great show and it was nice to see Bruce Springsteen without paying an astronomical amount for tickets. The issue was with layout and design of the stadium. There is no signs when you get off the highway as to where to turn. There is only one road in and out of the stadium. If you go here for an event, plan extra time to get into the stadium and extra time to leave because they decided to build one road for an 80,000 seat stadium.

    Sweetest little show in Town

by John on 7/24/22MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

Concert was Fantastic McCartney still has it. Not only the songs but the showmanship and all the hoopla. Guards and staff at the venue were nice also. They also offered merchandise in many different budgets so anyone could get some type of souvenir if they wanted. Great experience.

I was rocked and rolled by this event!

by Karen Rock n Roll! on 7/18/22MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

I Loved it, especially the Springsteen, McCartney duo. And when Bon Jovi came out it sealed the deal! However, I want to know why they turned off the advertisement screens during the concert. My Heart sank when that happened. It would have been a nice touch. Please don't do this in the future! This was my 3rd Beatle I have seen in my lifetime; I have seen George with Ravi Schanker and Ringo at the Anniversary concert at Woodstock. I can now die in peace! LOVE YOU PAUL!!!!!!!!!!!

    He's Still Got It

    by C. M. on 7/10/22MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

Two days shy of his 80th birthday - and you'd never know Paul's age. He was up there singing and dancing for three solid hours! His stage presence is fantastic. His songs stand the test of time. And the stories he told from his days as a Beatle and more were entertaining and interesting. If you haven't had a chance to see Paul live - you must do it!

    Great farewell!

by Mel on 7/8/22JMA Wireless Dome - Syracuse

Not my personal favorite, (lucky to see 4 shows over the years, that’s why I say “personal”), nothing to do with performance. Grateful to be a part of an amazing show as always!!! It’s such a special feeling, beyond words, to describe a night being entertained by Sir Paul McCartney! This one came from a lifetime of achievements, his life experiences and his heart. Thank you Sir Paul for all the joy, You, & all the master musicians who played on your stage, brought to our lives.

    There aren’t words

    by Jake Flowers on 7/7/22

It’s tough to describe a Paul McCartney concert in 2022 without sounding unoriginal. He’s simply put a legend. That word gets thrown around too much with celebrities nowadays but McCartney truly is. He’s easily the greatest musician alive today and arguably the greatest ever. He revolutionized music with John Lennon. The ability to see him alive today is something of awe. Yes, his voice does have his shortcomings but for goodness sake, he’s 80 years old and singing songs in the key he sang them in when he was 20. The best way to describe the people at the show. Im 17, to my left is my mom who is 50, to my right is a man in his 70s and to his right is a kid maybe 10. All of us knew these songs and admired the man for still putting on a 2 1/2 hour show. Simply put, if you have the opportunity to see this legend of a man, please do so. You will not regret it

Sir Paul played almost everything you’d want to hear for 3 hours, plus snagged a sneak appearance in by Bruce and BonJovi

    Great show, lousy venue.

by Uncle Albert on 7/2/22MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

Paul still does a great show, very similar to the one he did 10 years ago when last I saw him. Tributes to John and George, great Beatles and Wings songs. Tonight a guest spot by Bruce Springsteen (did they have to do one of his songs? It's not his show). Jon Bon Jovi getting everyone to sing Happy Birthday to Paul (we had already done that on our own earlier, thanks). Almost 3 hours of music. A few new tines could have been dropped IMO. Now, getting into and out of Met Life is atrocious. An hour jam each way. Seats where I was is far too tight and small. Missed the first few songs due to it taking so long to park. Never want to go there again unless I win some kind of VIP thing.

A few problems from the Paul McCartney concert

by W Hong on 6/27/22SoFi Stadium - Inglewood

The video introduction went on for too long. The "ring" near the ceiling, where the video screens were located, was uneven shaped. That meant some of the video screens were bigger than the others. The screen seen from my seat was smaller sized. It was hard to go home by uber from SoFi Stadium, especially because of too much traffic. The concert was too long also. Other than that, I'm glad I was able to see Paul McCartney in concert, especially since I am a fan of The Beatles.

    McCartnet Concert 6/16/22

by CwillsSr on 6/26/22MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

As usual Paul did a fantastic 3-hour show at MetLife Stadium. The 5th time I've seen Sir Paul since the early 70's, even though I've been a fan since 1964 on that magical Sunday night on the Ed Sullivan show when The Beatles appeared for the first time on TV. Paul was in excellent form at MetLife, for a guy about to turn 80 years old in the next 48 hours. The band was flawless and I think Paul's voice sounded better than the last time I saw him in Hershey, PA. MetLife was a good venue and the sound was surprisingly good! Hope this was not the last full blown tour but I feel this may be the last time we may see Paul doing a full tour. As much as his fans would like to see him again and again. This man's music has affected everyone's life, if you were lucky enough to experience the Beatlemania phenomenon.

by Lindy on 6/26/22Camping World Stadium - Orlando

He was 'Fab'! We had the best time. Singing along with the grandkids was amazing. He was so awesome and still as funny and Sexy as ever. It was everything I hoped it would be and more. I've loved the Beatles since I was 12 and I'm so glad I got to see him again. This was my 4th time and hope there's more! Love You Paul! And Happy Birthday! ❤️

    Amazing

by Sharid on 6/25/22MetLife Stadium - East Rutherford

I waffled on whether to go, finally bought my ticket at 4pm. I jumped in the car for my 2 hour commute. I have to say it was the most amazing concert I’ve ever seen. Paul played 2.5 hours, he never left the stage. Not bad for a man turning 80 the day after the concert. Then he played a 30 minute encore. And this was the last concert of his tour. I’ve been to a lot of concerts and no one played their heart out like Paul did. There were special Jersey guests, the Boss, Bruce Springsteen appeared and played two songs plus a song during the encore. Jon Bonjovi appeared and sang Happy Birthday. The evening ended with fireworks and pPaul saying, see you next time.
