Las Vegas Raiders History
The Las Vegas Raiders began play in the American Football League in Oakland in 1960. In 1963, they hired head coach and general manager Al Davis, who engineered the greatest one-year turnaround in pro football history, leading the Raiders to a 10-4 record after they posted a 1-13 mark the year before.
From 1967 to 1977 the Raiders appeared in three consecutive AFL title games and six AFC championship games. They won their first national championship title at Super Bowl XI in 1977, beating Minnesota 32-14. In 1980, they became the first Wild Card playoff team to win a Super Bowl, beating Philadelphia 27-10 in Super Bowl XV.
The Raiders moved to Los Angeles in 1982 and the following year won their third national championship title, defeating Washington 38-9 in Super Bowl XVIII. After returning to Oakland in 1995, the Raiders won three straight AFC West titles from 2000 to 2002 and earned a berth in Super Bowl XXXVII. As the only franchise to play in the Super Bowl in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, the Raiders are known as the “Team of the Decades.” The Raiders relocated to Las Vegas in 2020 and made a playoff appearance in 2021.
The Raiders have 30 members of the Pro Football Hall of Fame, including owner Al Davis.

Fun always at the Allegiant Stadium. Great time inside
This is our second game at Allegiant Stadium, and we absolutely loved it. Great food selections, amazing stadium, and awesome entertainment. The fact that the Raiders won was a plus! What a great venue and destination for a game.
Overall excellent experience at the new Allegiant stadium in Vegas. State of the art facility and have a great time!
Beautiful stadium love the live music in between plus the reaction on peoples faces when they see themselves on the screen
Raiders!!! Death Star is by far the best place for all Raider Nation
Stadium is amazing! Everything is beautiful, so excited to see my legacy brick this season!
I saw the last game of the season with my family. Raiders made it to the playoffs!! Took the W in a game to remember against the chargers. Game was intense and fans were intense!! One to remember for sure!!!
Took my son here because his team is Broncos my team is Raiders and we had a very good time. Stayed at a nearby hotel walked to the game got really good pics and the food pricing was good. Overall not bad at all
We enjoyed the game the tailgate. What a great experience.
The stadium is beautiful. Got there early to take pictures especially the Madden experience. The food was amazing and the silver and black margaritas were spectacular.
Being the last game you of the season and one the mattered made a big difference. The experience was amazing, we had club seats so not only did we get a chance to enjoy ourselves at the Twitch Lounge but our seats were comfortable. We ordered drinks from our seats too and that was a great.
One of the best experiences ever. Easy parking, easy entrance, beautiful stadium. The hype and energy was crazy and exciting. Can’t wait to do it again.
Great venue, great game & great people. I must say though your pregame bring em out was pretty lame. Not enough excitement or drama. Take a note from Vegas Golden Knights or even the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the Canadian Football League. Ya gotta get the fans revved up.
From beginning to end, the Las Vegas Raiders vs. San Diego Chargers game experience was top notch. Ticket Master was easy to use. Covid protocols were good but not over done. Our seats were great and the Allegiant Stadium is just amazing. Overall this was one of the very best stadium experiences my wife and I have ever had. 5 ⭐️!
First off the stadium is awesome. It’s really nice in the inside as much as it is from the outside. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Check-in for us was super easy. It was a great experience. Raider Nation showed up and got LOUD.

The stadium is great and the game itself was awesome. Staff great. Only problem was the COVID-19 line to get a wristband if you did not have the clear app. We had trouble enrolling all members because Verizon Wireless signal there was horrible. Aside from that, great atmosphere!
A beautiful stadium with excellent parking venues. Quick check-in and all the pre-planning with the Clear ID really speed things up. Food is a little overpriced but not worse than other stadiums that I've been to. State-of-the-art Stadium.
Stadium is amazing, something the raiders deserved! Stops there, parking attendants have no clue where outside parking lots are. They block off streets that dont need to be blocked. No life in the crowd of the stadium and visiting team almost takes over the stadium. I knew it was never going to come close to oakland but was expecting a little oakland spirit. Great for familys who want to see thier team in vegas, i think mark davis was done with home field advantage and saw dollar signs! Very sad to see how these fans dont show up or thier lack of support. If you want to sit down and see a "show" this is for you. If youre a diehard nfl fan and use to standing yelling chanting high fiveing not for you. I walked out thankful for seeing my team beat the donkeys but felt like my most hated cousin found my favorite lost toy and is now the owner of it! Wish this was built in california.
Just win baby!! Best say ever. Stadium is amazeballs!!!
