Nelly in Concert
Ranked as the fourth best-selling rap artist of all time by the Recording Industry of America, Nelly has become a symbol of rap's crossover success in mainstream pop music. With over 21 million albums sold in the US alone, his pop-infused hip hop and unique vocal delivery have earned him six Top 10 albums and made him a live concert favorite. His seventh studio album, 2012's M.O., features hit singles "Hey Porsche" and "Get Like Me," a collaboration with Nicki Minaj and Pharrell. Born Cornell Iral Haynes, Jr. in 1974, Nelly got his first taste of musical success with the St. Louis hip hop collective St. Lunatics. In 2000, he launched his solo career with No. 1 debut album Country Grammar, which showcased his signature Southern drawl mixed with a Midwestern twang. 2002 follow-up Nellyville also peaked at No. 1 and included the international smash " Hot in Herre," which earned him a Grammy in 2003 for Best Male Rap Solo Performance. On 2013's M.O. tour, Nelly treated ticket buyers to his greatest hits, earning rave reviews for his upbeat stage presence and charismatic performances.

by 90s girls on 12/19/23Schottenstein Center - ColumbusI mean, it was the best night of our life! Each artist was awesome. You could hear them over the music which is a plus. They kept the crowd going! Took us back to our younger days. The venue was an amazing host as well. The only thing I would change is having more room in floor seating (we felt like we were sitting on each other's lap. And at a concert like that, you need dancing room) and some cash bar options. We brought cash and couldn't use it. Good thing they had a cash to card machine so we could use our money

by Kathryn on 12/11/23Choctaw Grand Theater - DurantOverall, the concert was fun. Very nostalgic. My only complaint is that I spent just shy of $100 for maybe 70 minutes of concert. No opener. No dj while waiting. He was set to start at 8pm and didn't start until around 820pm and we were out by 930pm. If the concert price was more like $50- I think that would be more 5 star worthy.

by April on 12/4/23Peoria Civic Center - PeoriaLeave Ashanti at home, JaRule's set was messed up because he couldn't perform alone, Nelly should have done less country, JaRule and Nelly either need new dj's or someone to rearrange their set orders, JaRule didn't perform "Holla Holla", Nelly and Ashanti didn't perform their song together even though they are so in love. TI knocked it out the park even with all the madness going on with his son that week. I honestly could have left after him and been just fine. He shouldn't have opened.

Our seats were floor seats which made the concert even more enjoyable!!! The falling confetti was really neat. Definitely got your money's worth. Loved how the performers kept thanking everyone for their support. 10/10. I would definitely go again.

Ja Rule OMG OMG, He did his thing with every song he performed! My girl Ashanti left no crumbs at all! Nelly ooooweee my Nelly! He started off so strong then lost me with all the country music! (I love country music by the way so no hate) It was a 00âs playlist so in my opinion he should have kept us hype with all his old stuff then hit us with the country stuff at the end! Dont get me wrong he still put on a damn good show! My focus just disappeared after the middle of his performance! I would have liked to have heard more of his old music because thats really why I went! But overall it was a great show and yes I would see all of them again no hesitation! It was worth the money and im glad I didnt listen to some of the reviews and miss this awesome experience â¤ď¸
