American contemporary Christian musician Michael W. Smith is one of a select number of Christian artists who have managed to achieve crossover success with mainstream audiences. His brand of spiritual adult contemporary pop, along with several instrumental worship and Christmas albums, have made him a favorite among fans seeking to embrace the holiday spirit and celebrate their faith through music. On his 20th studio album, 2011’s Glory, Smith enlisted a 65-piece orchestra to produce his most soaring collection of instrumental spiritual songs yet, landing him at No. 8 on the Christian Albums chart. Smith made his solo debut in 1983 with the Grammy-nominated The Michael W. Smith Project, releasing several more successful albums in the ‘80s before achieving mainstream success with hit single “Place in This World" from 1990's Go West Young Man. He is the recipient of three Grammy awards, including two Best Pop/Contemporary Gospel Album awards for I’ll Lead You Home (1995) and Worship Again (2002). On tour in 2013, Smith has been wowing fans with his truly collective live concert, inviting ticket buyers to sing along to his impressive array of spiritual and holiday songs.

We really enjoyed the program. Very personable and good feelings. God Bless
I would see him over and over. His energy is so positive and uplifting. I love his music. He must come back to Hattiesburg.
MWS brought the house down. We sang, laughed and cried. What a blessing he has been to so many people with his music.
Thank you, Michael, for taking me down memory lane during the first half of the concert. However, I enjoyed the second half much better. The concert was a great demonstration of how Michael's style of music has evolved over the years and how he has become one of the leading worship leaders we have today. I was very disappointed in the size of the crowd in Baton Rouge, LA. However, I wasn't there for the crowd. I was there for Michael and Jesus. His band was incredible. Blessings, keep the songs coming. Crimson Dust was incredible.
Great worship experience. Love Michael W Smith. He is very talented and communicates well with the crowd.
Michael W Smith is a light in this world! I am so grateful for his ministry! We left with a new way we can join in God’s work through the Compassion ministry! We were blessed to be able to sponsor a special little girl from Africa! What an amazing gift we were given! Thank you to Michael W Smith, his family, and his entire team! Thank you Lord for this true night of worship❤️❤️❤️
Michael W. Smith had an amazing concert! I am glad I was able to go. I will definitely go again if he is ever in this area!
I can’t say enough about how truly amazing & powerful Michael W Smith’s music is ! I can’t wait to see him again! Thank you Micheal W Smith for doing GOD’s work
What a wonderful concert!! I have never been to a MWS concert and I was tremendously excited to go see him. He did not disappoint!! I am astonished at how wonderfully he has aged. I wish I was aging as gracefully. The concert exceeded my expectations. He sang classics as well as new songs. He spoke of his life all these years as a performer and how some of the songs came into being. He prayed with us and for us. It was truly a delight!!
