Wonderful music and performances by all of the groups.

by superwoman on 5/16/22Tucson Music Hall - Tucson

Although the entire concert was great, there were so many people that it made it hard to get around to the bathrooms and drink areas. Maybe it should have been at a larger venue. It took a while to get in as they were checking bags and mobile tickets at the entrance. I don't like the idea of using the phone as the tickets. I prefer regular tickets. It would have gone faster.

Bringing together the past and present

by Jerry on 5/10/22Tucson Music Hall - Tucson

This festival was among the very best of all that I have attended. Having Mariachi Cobre return was great. I remember when they werre Los Changitos Feos 50 years ago. Bringing Linda Ronstadt back and naming the Music Hall after her was the kindest thing that Tucson could do for her. Her previous comments about Tucson were not appreciated, but the originators of this honor were exemplary in overlooking the slight. Kudos to Mayor Romero and Fletcher McCusker in their efforts to bring this to fruition.

OUSTANDING Performances by all Mariachi Groups

by Verdugo on 5/10/22Tucson Music Hall - Tucson

The Linda Randstad tribute and rededication ceremony was spectacular. Great work by the City of Tucson to Honor such a great legacy and to rename the Tucson Music Hall in her honor.

    Wow. That was long….

    by R & J on 5/10/22Tucson Music Hall - Tucson

Nice music, beautiful costumes, etc. But waaaaaaay too long. We’ve attended a lot of concerts over the past few decades with iconic performers like Sinatra, Ray Charles, Linda Ronstadt, Rosemary Clooney, etc., etc. - and no matter how great they were, after 90 minutes everyone is ready to go home. This 3-1/2 plus hour mariachi concert is just too long. Ridiculously long. Painfully long.

    Mariachi Spectacular

by Hammer on 5/10/22Tucson Music Hall - Tucson

Music hall not as nice as the convention center building was as in previous years. Seating too cramped and very uncomfortable, especially when having others having to pass by to use the facilities or whatever. Also vrey dissappointed the children were not included as in previous years at the convention center building. We have been attending this event annually with many other family members for almost 20 years, and as much as we hate to say it, it is just not near as enjoyable as it once was. Right now we're uncertain whether to return, as such a long drive from California.

    Mostly Very Good

by Redflyer on 7/28/18Sandia Casino Amphitheater - Albuquerque

What could have been an exceptional evening under the stars was ruined by the last mariachi performers. They turned up the volume to point that it was physically painful. The previous performers throughout the evening were loud enough. No amount of covering our ears seemed to help. We ultimately had to leave the performance venue or risk hearing damage. My ears buzzed and rang for days after the event. If I ever attend another Mariachi Spectacular it will be with my shooting range ear-muffs on. I would recommend to other future attendees to take hearing protection. I have to ask... Why do brass musicians have to blow into a microphone?

    Great Mariachi show!!!

by QLITO on 7/18/17Sandia Casino Amphitheater - Albuquerque

These show played live Mariachi music for 4 hours not stop. All the groups were excellent. The venue was great and when it rained, we were given ponchos.
