Madeon on Tour
Madeon is not your average EDM wunderkind. This French DJ and record producer may have got his start before he was of legal drinking age, but he crafts some of the smartest pop-straddling dance music on the planet — and when he brings it to the stage, expect fireworks. He's known for spectacular visuals, a pumped-up stage presence and live-only edits which turn the intensity of beloved album cuts up to 11. In 2017 he was nominated for two Electronic Music Awards, and he's produced sparkling tracks for such heavyweights as Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Two Door Cinema Club and Ellie Goulding. He toured with Lady Gaga for her Born This Way Ball, but his solo tours have fared just as well: The 2015 Adventure tour hit 22 North American cities, and his 2019 Goodfaith tour generated massive buzz, thanks to his growing interest in songwriting and pop songcraft.
Madeon in Concert
Madeon, born Hugo Pierre Leclercq, got his start composing music at the tender age of 11 in Nantes, France. His breakthrough moment came in 2011, when he was just 16: A YouTube video of his "Pop Culture" mash-up of 39 different songs (on a Novation Launchpad) went viral overnight. Months later, he would land his first live show ever, opening for French pop chanteuse Yelle in Paris. In 2012, he parlayed that success into invitations to play Ultra Music Festival in Miami, as well as Coachella, Lollapalooza and the Electric Daisy Festival...and he released his first EP, The City. (All this while maintaining his life as a normal teenager in Nantes.) Three years later, he dropped the well-received LP Adventure, which spawned tracks that were used in TV shows like Dancing With the Stars and games including FIFA 13, 15 and 17 and Forza Horizon. He took his time crafting a follow-up, and moved to Los Angeles to purposely throw himself into unfamiliar situations so he could learn and grow. The result was 2019's quantum leap, Goodfaith.

Incredible Experience, but it sucks being 5'8 and behind tall people.
Really good set. Really good energy from Madeon, and it seemed like he was genuinely having a good time which was contagious. Played all his hits and some random bangers like Mr. Blue Sky which landed perfectly. Definitely one of the best EDM shows I’ve been to and a memorable experience.
By the time he showed up it was like 1:30 A.M. I was kinda disconnected by that time when the DJ came out. I thought if I gave the chance to this show instead of DjSnake it would be ok but to be honest I’m really disappointed
I always love seeing this guy. Every show I've been to is a step up from the last, and he always outdoes himself. This isn't like a club rave, this is an audiovisual experience, a work of art. Come for the incredible music, stay for the visuals and Madeon's passion in all he does. An absolute must see.
Wow! Literally speechless after seeing Madeon at WAMU. His use of lights, sound, and ambiance is unmatched by any other performer I’ve seen. Especially this time around, his visuals were stunning and my partner and I both agreed that the overall story behind the visuals was incredible. The amount of detail that went into this show is crazy. I wish there were better quality stills of certain parts of the show because, man, it was that good. Madeon is kind and has been one f my favorite artists for over ten years and I can’t wait to see where he goes from here. It’s clear that he cares very much about his art and his fans.
Yung Bae and Madeon were astounding! The venue size was perfect, the people were kind and filled with energy, and all was safe and secure. Would 10/10 recommend to anyone going to Madeon or The Fillmore in future.
The music is too easy to dance to and the visuals are stunning. It was a really fun time and Yung Bae killed it as an opener.
The music, the visuals, the performance...everything was perfect
Madeon was one of the best show I've seen in a while.
