As an eight-time Grammy Award nominee, Ledisi has captured attention around the world, thanks to her expressive jazz-influenced voice and well-produced albums that boldly tackle personal subject matter. When on tour, Ledisi often collaborates with a large backup band, which creates a full, multi-layered sound that's a treat for the ears of every ticket holder in attendance. Her sixth studio album, Pieces of Me, was released in 2011, and her next effort, The Truth, is set to hit the shelves in early 2014. The album's first single, "I Blame You," is already available to stream via the Internet for free, and a series of concert dates seems likely to follow the album's release.
Involved in music her whole life, Ledisi has appeared on soundtracks and commercials and performed at the White House at the request of President Obama and the First Lady. The year 2007 marked the release of Ledisi's third studio album, Lost and Found, and it was noted for earning her two Grammy nominations, including a nod for Best New Artist. In 2011, she toured around North America in support of Pieces of Me and played to sold-out crowds in more than 20 cities. The years 2012 and 2013 also saw Ledisi being recognized by her peers by receiving additional Grammy nominations. In addition to nurturing her music career, Ledisi has written a biographical book in partnership with ESSENCE magazine and appeared in two films. Through those efforts, she's proven that she has what it takes to excel, whether by showcasing her skills in music or by courageously experimenting with other creative outlets.

Pieces of me will always bring tears to my eyes. Hearing it live made my heart smile.
Everytime Ledisi comes to NWI or Chicago I am going to see her. This time her set seemed very abbreviated. Of course she performed well. Ledisi is always going to Ledisi. There was no opening act. I bought suite tickets as I always do and service was absolutely horrible. Not the greatest experience.
I love Ledesi! She never disappoint me. I have one issue with Horseshoe. The purchase of the floor seats are to tight and are very uncomfortable especially if you are seating besides a person of a larger size. Someone at the venue needs to think about the floor plan when considering selling and setting up for a concert. One day it's not going to be a pleasant event with people on top of each other of a person of size who should have purchased two tickets. Someone needs to really think about designing a different floor plan. Thank you! Kevin
Great show will see her every time she is here In Illinois

Ledisi my goodness this lady can sing! Ledisiās vocal acrobatics are insane. Her range is incredible! She is an awesome singer and a great performer. I could listen to her sing all night. I love her vocal performance as well as the messages that come across in her music lyrics and from her on stage. Loved her interpretation of the Nina Simone song! What a great concertā¦.keep doing your style of music. Looking forward to hearing new music from you.
Great show, started on time, entertained from start to finish. Love it.
She brought it, her voice, the songs, her musicians and her stage acts, great night she soundedl amazing. Everyone was great but, it could have been longer, we were enjoying the evening then it was over. Ledisi is still on top to me, beautiful singer with a soulful voice, who never got the props she so well deserved. Put a star on your CD which i cant wait to hear.
Greatest, Love her music, messages, delivery. Her connection with the crowd is always amazing and personal. I went to see her last year with my husband for our anniversary, we had meet and greet tickets. Definitely worth it. The show was so refreshing we went again this year. We're making plans for the next show.
