Lana Del Rey in Concert

Lana Del Rey is a Grammy nominated American singer/songwriter. Her music has been noted by critics for its stylized cinematic quality, glamour, melancholia and its references to 1950s and 1960s Americana.

Her debut album, Born To Die was released in January 2012 and charted at number one on the official UK Album Chart, peaked number two on the US charts and was the fifth best-selling album of 2012. Her extended play Paradise followed that November, garnering her first Grammy nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album. Ultraviolence (2014), her third studio album, became her first album to reach number one in the US. In 2015, she released her fourth studio album, Honeymoon. Both albums received positive critical response.

Lana's fifth studio album Lust For Life, was released in 2017. The album received critical acclaim, and became her second album to reach No. 1 in the United States, while also reaching the top ten in almost every other country it charted in. The Album was also nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2018 Grammys.

Lana's sixth studio album is being released August 30, 2019. The highly anticipated album was mainly produced and co-written with Jack Antonoff and will include ‘Venice Bitch,' ‘Mariners Apartment Complex,' ‘hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have — but I have it,' and the cover of Sublime's ‘Doin' Time'.

Horrible crowd, short set list, hour late.

by KateyT on 4/21/14Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Lana Del Rey is amazing live and she is awesome, however the line to get in to the Bill Graham civic auditorium was ridiculous causing the show to be delayed an hour. There was no opener to keep the crowd entertained. The crowd was a bunch of 16 year old girls (can't control that I guess) and her set was only an hour long (not sure if that was because of the delay). She's awesome but her followers are not. The whole audience had their phone on the air recording and taking pictures and I'm not exageratting by saying the WHOLE audience. It was extremely annoying to see a bunch of camera lights and not the actual performer

Lana Del Rey was a sight to see..

by Chrissrr on 4/21/14Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Very simple stage, awesome lighting and the crowd was great. Lana Del Rey may not dance, but she doesn't need it! Her stage presence is great, really connects with the crowd and has an amazing live voice. Defintiely would see her again in a heartbeat.

Lana did great at her performance. However she was an hour late to start and even though she was the only performer she was only on the stage for barely over an hour. Just expected and wanted more after driving two hours and waiting two and a half hours in line. She sounded great and sang all the song I wanted hear though. I would do it all over again to see her live just slightly disappointed.

    Waste of money

by Anonymous on 4/21/14Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

I was apprehensive about seeing Lana Del Rey in person but since I'm such a huge fan wanted to at least check her out. Tickets literally sold out instantaneously so I was really excited to have gotten them. Not worth it at all though. -Waited in line for 1.5 hours just to get inside. -Show didn't start until 9pm (hour after indicated). During that one hour really lame DJ was playing w/ not even good pump up music. -She only played for one hour. Show was over by 10:10pm -Band was way too loud, drowning out her voice...though probably a good thing. -Playback was super loud so she wasn't singing most of the time. -When she did start singing she was off tune. Oftentimes she would end up trailing off and stop singing all together. -She eventually started getting "better" but by the time she did, the show was over. NOT worth the $57. AT. ALL.

by Lizpulido on 4/21/14Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Lana was incredible, her voice is just perfect. I loved how she interacted with the fans! I still can't believe I got to see her live, I've waited over two years to see her. Once again she was amazing.

    Lana is a Rock Star

by MikhailM on 4/21/14Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

I've never seen a crowd more enthusiastic about a performer. There was almost a stampede when she came out. She sounded flawless and interacted so well with the crowd. The best concert I've ever attended.

If you're a die hard Lana fan...

by Selenies33 on 4/21/14Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Yes it was GA so if you're complaining about how hectic it was then you shouldn't be going to a GA admission concert. I knew and was prepared for the GA. Overall Lana was amazing. She didn't have an opening act and no DJ. When she came out her voice was angelic. I had the time of my life and don't have any bad things to say about this concert. It was an experience that I'll never forget.

Lana knocked it out of the park!

by Bobjoejohn on 4/21/14Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

For as many people were there with a sold out crowd, the venue was perfect for the amount of people and how the accommodations were presented well (snacks and alcohol for example). Lana Del Rey would have been more impressive though given her very talented performance if she had sang more songs or came out for an encore since she was already late to begin with. The show was memorable and I hope to see her again in the near future.

    Lana was the cutest!

by YoungAndBeautiful on 4/21/14Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

I've been waiting for Lana Del Rey to tour and I couldn't miss it! It sold out so I'm so happy I was able to get a ticket and finally see her live! She was amazing! She sounds great live! Her set was cute! And she was so beautiful and super sweet! I love her! Only thing I was bummed about was how quick it went. Ticket said show starts at 8pm but she went on at 9pm and it was over around 10pm :( I expected it to be a 2 hour show but it was still an awesome night I'll never forget!

Lana was great, sound and audience: not so much!

by Anonymous on 4/21/14Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Lana was amazing, and I am very glad that I got to see her live! The only bad part was that the sound was horrible, there was a lot of feedback, and the music was louder than her, so you couldn't really hear her, and when she would speak to the audience, it sounded really muffled. Don't get me wrong, I had a great time, I just wish that would have been worked on a bit more before the show began! It was just soooooo short too, she only played for about 1 hour! I would've wanted to see her perform for much longer.

Best concert I've ever been to

by Lanalover123454321 on 4/21/14Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

This was an intimate concert even though the venue isn't that small. She did an outstanding job and I loved how she had no opener.

    Lana Del Rey was short-lived....

by DK1780 on 4/21/14Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Unfortunately, the entire set for LDR was one whole hour. Fans were lined up at Civic Center at 5pm, doors opened at 8pm. Show started at 9pm and ended promptly at 10:10pm. Seems like a very uneven exchange since, technically, it was a whole dollar for each minute she performed. The extra 10 minutes were used to hug and sign autographs for front row fans...Humbling moment, but not for the rest of us. Show was pretty good. She seemed burnt out from Coachella Weekend 1, so I'm assuming that is why she cut the show off short, but the audience wasn't too pleased by the end of it. We prepared for a night that would at least last 2 hours or more. It was a sold out show, so her fans expected A LOT more....

Lana Del Rey needs to tighten up her show

by Jmp94114 on 4/21/14Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

I really love Lana Del Reys music and was super excited to see her show. However, she seems a little vocally challenged (google Saturday night live and Lana Del Rey). She wasnt as bad as that performance but she really seemed to loose energy halfway through each song. I think perhaps she should utilize backing vocalists to help her out. Visually the show was good, the sound was pretty good. About halfway through the show she seemed to get her footing and closed it pretty strong but overall I was not that impressed. She seemed nice though.

Lana was awesome, but the sound was bad

by Xeilaxtu on 4/21/14Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Lana was magic on stage. She was really closed to her fans. But she needs a new sound engineer. I was seating right in the middle of the auditorium, on the second balcony and the sound was awful!! There was no balance between the instruments and her micro, it was just like if you had your head in a bottle. Several time Lana asked to adjust her mic or the piano's mic! Anyway, it was great.

Girl has a voice like buttuh!

by Cathcash on 4/21/14Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Seeing Lana was so much fun. She has pure talent. She is super humble, and connects with the crowd. Making it a very personal show. My only issue was that the set was Very short. Maybe a little more than an hour. I guess it was her intension a, because she had me wanting more.

    Lana Del Rey

by MalibuZ on 4/21/14Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Lana was AMAZING. Her voice was spot on and she did some fancy renditions of some songs that were incredible and she should release those versions of the songs cause they were that good!
