Lana Del Rey in Concert

Lana Del Rey is a Grammy nominated American singer/songwriter. Her music has been noted by critics for its stylized cinematic quality, glamour, melancholia and its references to 1950s and 1960s Americana.

Her debut album, Born To Die was released in January 2012 and charted at number one on the official UK Album Chart, peaked number two on the US charts and was the fifth best-selling album of 2012. Her extended play Paradise followed that November, garnering her first Grammy nomination for Best Pop Vocal Album. Ultraviolence (2014), her third studio album, became her first album to reach number one in the US. In 2015, she released her fourth studio album, Honeymoon. Both albums received positive critical response.

Lana's fifth studio album Lust For Life, was released in 2017. The album received critical acclaim, and became her second album to reach No. 1 in the United States, while also reaching the top ten in almost every other country it charted in. The Album was also nominated for Best Pop Vocal Album at the 2018 Grammys.

Lana's sixth studio album is being released August 30, 2019. The highly anticipated album was mainly produced and co-written with Jack Antonoff and will include ‘Venice Bitch,' ‘Mariners Apartment Complex,' ‘hope is a dangerous thing for a woman like me to have — but I have it,' and the cover of Sublime's ‘Doin' Time'.

    Gridlocked After the Show

by Kayla on 10/6/23The Pavilion at Star Lake - Burgettstown

The show itself was great, but it took us THREE HOURS to leave the parking lot for some reason. Totally ruined the experience. Coming from Ohio, we didn't get home until 4 am.

She’s so beautiful and she put on an amazing concert. I’m sad she has no more shows coming up but I’m so happy I went in Charlotte. Forever a Lana girly

Lana was great, venue was horrible

by Fan on 10/6/23The Pavilion at Star Lake - Burgettstown

Lana ofc was phenomenal. Star Lake was a joke. Traffic getting out was a stand still for HOURS.

Lana was Queen show stopping amazing, FIX THE PARKING LOT

by Maddy on 10/6/23The Pavilion at Star Lake - Burgettstown

Lana was an angel on Earth, and I have nothing bad to say about her or her performance at all. PLEASE have an alternative exit for this venue, and hire a full staff of traffic control. I know it’s been said a thousand times, but if you’re going to sell 20,000+ tickets to an event there needs to be more than 2 exits. I’m not even sure I should call the extra exit an actual exit because it’s so tricky to get out of that it takes twice as long. We were right next to the second exit off to the left of the main exit and it still took us 50 minutes to get out of the parking lot. I can’t even imagine the people that were behind the stage in the back parking lot. They need another exit and access road back there to filter out some the traffic. It’s so stress inducing to watch people nearly hit each other in a dark parking lot and fight to merge into lines of traffic moving towards the exits. When we got the converging point of all the cars trying to get to the exit, there was six cars all moving to be next in line. It’s going to get to a point where someone ends up dead because of an angry driver. Let’s get it together Star Lake, this is not a new problem. I love this venue and I’ve been so many times, but it’s hard to want to go anymore knowing it may be hours in the parking lot just trying to get out.

    An Amazing Performer

by Tate on 10/6/23The Pavilion at Star Lake - Burgettstown

Not only did Lana look amazing, but she also put on an amazing performance. Her voice was angelic, and the songs she sang flowed together so well to make a really cohesive listening experience. There were great visuals and dancers, too. The only thing I’d change is for the show to be longer. Parking at the venue was a nightmare (Pavilion at Star Lake), so I’d recommend seeing her anywhere but there. However, Lana was amazing. I would certainly watch the show again and would recommend it to everyone.

    It could be better.

by Jhonatan Costa on 10/6/23The Pavilion at Star Lake - Burgettstown

I couldn't understand the purpose of having a seat and not being able to sit down and enjoy the show, because people were standing. There was no one to organize and guide those people to remain seated. But the worst part was being stuck in the parking lot for more than 2 hours waiting to leave.

    Amazing

by Queendi325 on 10/6/23The Pavilion at Star Lake - Burgettstown

The set was amazing. Nikki Lane and Lana Del Rey were also amazing. I’m a little biased because that’s my favorite artist but at the same time the production value is really really good and we love to see a good production value.

Lana Del Rey=Amazing Starlake parking lot=awful

by Soccermomof2 on 10/6/23The Pavilion at Star Lake - Burgettstown

Lana Del Rey was an amazing show. I took my 13 yr old and I did not know a single song. Her voice is amazing, the stage show was entertaining. Starlake, your parking lot is awful. It took us 3 hrs to get to the main road and then another 30 mins home. I spent more time trying to get out of the parking lot than I did at the actual concert. This has always been a problem and needs to be addressed. I would not recommend this venue to anyone. With that being said, we look forward to seeing Lana again, just not at Starlake.

Lana was PERFECT! Venue was HORRIBLE

by Lauren on 10/6/23The Pavilion at Star Lake - Burgettstown

Lana del Rey herself was amazing, I’ve been a fan since 2012 and never got to see her live until now. She was so good live, and the backup dancers and vocalists were amazing. My only complaint is the venue itself. Starlake SUCKS. It took 1.5 hours before we could even move the car from the parking spot and another hour to leave the lot. It was torture

Excellent concert, Lana was a dream

by Sarah on 10/6/23The Pavilion at Star Lake - Burgettstown

Lana was absolutely amazing best concert I have ever been to. It was a fantastic show and a dream come true to see. Everything inside the concert was great. The parking at this venue was an absolute nightmare to exit from however, and it took two hours sitting stand still for us to even start moving out of the parking lot after the show.

Beautiful voice, short set, horrible venue experience

by Patti on 10/6/23The Pavilion at Star Lake - Burgettstown

When Lana was on stage, it was wonderful. She has an amazing voice and she did not need much to capture the attention of the entire crowd. However, the concert itself was very short, which was disappointing. Less than an hour and a half, given the ticket prices and the pain to get there I don't know that it was worth it. Star lake is notorious for having horrible parking and traffic to get there and out. This concert was no exception and leaving was truly horrific. Probably my last concert at Star lake.

    Room for improvement

    by A. H. on 10/6/23

Zella Day as an opener was very good, the stage presence was definitely there and I will be streaming her music more because of this performance. Lana came out late, this was a tad expected but nonetheless, she was late so the audience was very restless. When she was singing it was great, Lana sounds amazing live and the background dancers and singers really gave it their all. At the end, she promised 2 songs yet she only sang one and then left. We all cheered for an encore but the lights went up and it was over. This was frustrating, but Lana is Lana and I enjoyed the concert. Everyone’s outfits were amazing, the atmosphere felt good!!

    Heavenly And Extraordinary Experience 🪞🩵

    by Angel Gonzalez on 10/6/23

I loved it, the atmosphere it was so magical and she’s just gorgeous. Her music never fails to amaze me and thanks to her I now know what to do with my life. She’s very sweet and I’m obviously looking forward to seeing her again in the near future. It’s totally worth going, kinda wished it was longer with her large discography but other than that it’s so good.

    Sweet 16th Birthday

by Someone's Ferral Aunt on 10/5/23PNC Music Pavilion - Charlotte

The only thing my niece wanted for her 16th birthday was to see Lana in concert. She absolutely LOVED the show. It was a nightmare getting these tickets. Literally 2.5 hrs of high anxiety. But worth every minute and penny to see her so happy. IMHO: Lana should be playing in stadiums, she has that big of a following. Personally, to me it was very short. I understand the age group that goes to see Lana so it makes sense to get everyone out of there in a timely manner.

    Pittsburgh Show

    by LANAAA on 10/5/23

This concert was unforgettable. Her voice is perfect and she sounds even better in person. We got to see her up close about 2 hours after the show because she came up to all the people waiting to take an Uber 😭 the venue police and staff were disrespectful though and treating the people very poorly afterwards and yelling at us that they wanted to go home. Like okay? We drove 4 and a half hours to see Lana so we were also tired as if we didn’t wanna go to bed either? And that’s not to mention waiting 3 hours and not getting an Uber until 2AM (the show ended at 10:30PM). However, the venue has NOTHING to do with Lana so of course I’m gonna rate her 5 stars because she’s perfect.

    Audio / Drinks

by tweety on 10/5/23PNC Music Pavilion - Charlotte

This review is not on how Lana performed. She was awesome however the audio was too low to be heard from the back of the lawn. It was a sold out show therefore those in the very back had to really listen to hear her sing. I have been to other shows where the audio was perfect in the lawn section however this time it was not. I am also aware that the concert session is coming to an end however I was disappointed that the concession stands were out of soft drinks. The crowd was mainly teenagers and underage drinkers and the concession stands were running out of drinks. By the time Lana came on stage they only had lemonade and water. You get free refills when you by the souvenir cup however it was not worth it when only a few beverages were available. Lana was great, the volunteers at the concession stands were so nice and you could tell that they felt bad about it however the venue should have been better prepared for a sold out crowd of teenagers.
