    Incredible KPP Concert

by PokeFan123 on 6/29/18Fonda Theatre - Los Angeles

I've always wanted to see Kyary Pamyu Pamyu live and finally got the chance last week at the Fonda Theatre. The show was incredible. Lots of light effects and dancing were put into play during certain songs, which made the whole concert feel magical. Before coming to the concert, I was worried that KPP was only going to sing songs from her most recent album, since the whole thing is Hallowee themed. Luckily, I was wrong and she sang a ton of songs - some new, some old. The Fonda Theatre was incredibly hot, which made me respect KPP even more than I already did. KPP, as well as her backup dancers, pretty much danced the entire show. I could tell they were sweating a lot, but were still able to pull off an amazing show. I had a great time.

Kyary pamyu pamyu's concert was peppy, cute, and a lot of fun! She not only performed her music and talked to the audience, she also got them to participate by doing some simple moves during some of the songs. I would definitely go again when she returns!

This 21 year old pop star from Japan definitely knew how to put on a fun and interesting show. We brought my 1year old niece for her first concert ever and she had a blast too!

great show. no opening act. Kyary came out right at 8PM, performed for 90 minutes, no time wasted. this was the most fun i have had at a concert in a long time.

    So much fun!!!

by bunnytrot on 5/13/13Best Buy Theater - New York

Kyary is sooo amazing at what she does! I was really really impressed. :) It was fun to jump up and down to and sing to even though I didn't know most of the songs. She is very charismatic. Only thing I didn't like was getting pushed around and cut on the floor in front of the stage after waiting 5 hours in line to get there. That's expected I guess, but otherwise it was such a fun concert that lasted a good length of time (hour and a half.)

    Love KPP

by DigitalApophis on 4/18/13Best Buy Theater - New York

Pro: The show was great. Since she is really just a budding artist in her first few years, I'd have to say she does a wonderful show. The theater was great and had a fantastic sound quality from wherever you decided to watch it from. Her set was wonderful and she played all the expected songs. There wasn't too much razzle-dazzle to it but that is to be expected. She had 4 backup dancers who were very good and the show made the audience laugh plenty of times. For her two costume changes, instead of intermission, she had amusing videos playing that definitely kept the audience's attention. Wish they had a better translator though for their videos. OOH! And she played her new song for us. So-so: The show started later than it was supposed to but it didn't really bother us too much; standing in line. The staff was courteous enough. Cons: New York City is crime infested. Our friends were supposed to join us for the show and were probably the first ones who had even purchased tickets once they became available online. However, the night before the event they had all of their belongings stolen -- laptops, phone chargers and concert tickets. They were unable to go and because of the nonsense that is the crime in this city, our time was less enjoyable. Would have been five stars if the location were better. Also, New York was a terrible choice for where to have the concert since a good chunk of KPP fans do NOT live on the east coast (even though I do). I hope there will be a next time for her to join us here in the USA, however if the concert is in the same city, I will not go and I will tell everyone I know to avoid it at all costs. KPP is wonderful but you can show your support of her in other ways, such as purchasing her merchandise.
