About

Kacey Musgraves is a seven-time Grammy-winning country artist from Golden, Texas. The singer-songwriter released her major-label debut, Same Trailer Different Park, in early 2013, which notched her first No. 1 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The album also won Musgraves her first Grammy Awards for Best Country Album and Best Country Song (for lead single “Merry Go ‘Round”) as well as a Best New Artist nomination. Her sophomore effort Pageant Material (2015) was followed by the holiday-themed A Very Kacey Christmas (2016). Musgraves’ fourth album, 2018’s Golden Hour, swept all four categories it was nominated in at the 2019 Grammys, including Album of the Year. She then followed that critically acclaimed project with her 2021 visual album star-crossed, which documented the dissolution of her relationship with ex-husband Ruston Kelly. In 2024, Musgraves became the first artist to ever win in all four country categories at the Grammys thanks to the Zach Bryan collaboration “I Remember Everything” taking home the trophy for Best Country Duo/Group Performance. Preceded by lead single “Deeper Well,” the star’s sixth studio album, also titled Deeper Well, will arrive in March 2024.

    Mixed Feelings

    by V. C. on 3/1/22American Airlines Center - Dallas

I absolutely loved Kasey Musgraves. Her stage performance and sound was wonderful. I was surprised by her choice of opening acts. Muna was fine, I enjoyed their music. I think King Princess was a bad choice for her to use as an opening act. Kasey should know she has a large following of young listeners and King Princess wasn't appropriate. I talked to several people around me, some with small children that said they would never spend their money again to see Kasey if this is the type of act she chooses to promote. This was my first and most likely my last time to see Kasey Musgraves.

    star-crossed and star-struck

    by Dani on 2/28/22

Absolutely incredibly show. I had seen Kacey four times before this and can say nobody is doing it like her. I would’ve been happy with just her and a guitar, but she absolutely blew me away. The audience interaction, the production value, and the way she transformed this album to be performed live were completed unmatched. I will see her every single time she comes to Nashville without a doubt.

    Great show, poor venue experience

by Kacey Fan 27 on 2/25/22Ball Arena - Denver

First off Kacey Musgraves and the opening acts were all fantastic. Great artists, go see them. The Ball Arena largely dropped the ball on their handling. It started rough in the sense that I couldn't find any information about when the doors for the show actually opened. After searching through the confirmation e-mails, trying to call the Ball Arena, and trying to call Ticket Master customer support I was eventually able to find details about the show from another user on Reddit. It would seem the only way to get the show details was through the Ball Arena's Twitter feed. No info on the website, no phone number, just Twitter. Slightly annoying that we had to do all that work to find the answer, but once we had it things went smoother for a bit. The venue itself was good. Reasonable lines for merchandise, concessions, and restrooms. The seats were a little lacking of legroom but were acceptable. The show was executed flawlessly. The end of the night is where they dropped the ball. Denver was hit with a snow storm the night of the concern. Somewhere around 4-6" of snow, not uncommon for the Denver area in February. Our plan at the end of the show was to take an Uber/Lyft back to the hotel at the end of the show (we traveled from out of state to attend this concert). We put in for a ride when the show ended and was stuck in the "connecting you with a driver" loop, along with many other people. About 30 minutes after the show ended the staff started directing people into the very close quarters near the exit; about 100 people near the exit we were at. They, along with people who claimed to be Denver PD (not in uniform) formed a line and started forcing everyone outside into the snow storm (including women in short skirts and high heels). Their response to no one having rides was "you should have planned better". They made no effort to tell anyone of alternative methods of transport. The answer they gave was "stand outside and wait, or walk"; no heated or covered waiting areas available. Based on this experience we won't be visiting Denver again. These guys are ambassadors of the city and that's how they represent themselves? Pass. See Kacey elsewhere.

    I enjoy music!!!

by Sunshine on 2/25/22American Airlines Center - Dallas

I left the arena during the 2nd opening act due to the artist crude/profane language. I met a young mom at the concession stand. She had two young girls with her and she offered the information that she quickly took them out of the arena because of the language/content. Neither of us expected Kacey Musgraves to continue with inappropriate language & inappropriate subject matter. I would have enjoyed more songs, especially from her “Pageant Material” album. I told someone later that if she had just covered her albums & not talked, it would’ve been a much better concert. I love music and have been to many different concerts (different artists/different genres/even Kacey. I have never been so disappointed. Will never go see her again. Prior to purchase of tickets, she should have a warning for “Adult Content” /language.

    Not what i expected

by Goldeneyes on 2/23/22State Farm Arena - Atlanta

The entire concert had a weird vibe. The opening acts were for a much younger audience. One of the acts was King Princess(whoever that is) and loved shoving the LGBT agenda into her/his concert. Kasey just had no real spark when she took the stage, we left before she finished. Thank God, we got the tix for free.

Gorgeous show - but needed more for the Day One-ers

by Wen on 2/21/22American Airlines Center - Dallas

The show was beautiful, Kacey sings like an angel. But for fans who have been with her since Day One, we really would have loved for her to have played much more from her first couple of albums. If she is going for the pop-star vibe, she should incorporate a costume change or two and dress her band in better looking outfits. Her old school band was so awesome looking in their matching nudi-style suits. It would be great to continue a version of that with the new band. The people watching at this concert was unmatched!

    Queen Kacey

by JAM on 2/20/22Ball Arena - Denver

I have loved Kacey Musgraves for years. She put on an amazing show with a mixture of new and older music. My only complaint is that I wish I wouldn’t have spent the extra effort and money to “sit” close. With everyone standing, I couldn’t see very well.
