Indianapolis Colts Team History
The Indianapolis Colts (previously known as the Baltimore Colts) secured their first winning record in 1957. This led to back-to-back championships for the team, earning them the status as one of the "greatest pro football teams of all time" by 1968.
Since moving to Indianapolis in 1984, the Colts have appeared in the Super Bowl twice, winning Super Bowl LXI in 2007 led by quarterback Peyton Manning. Manning, a Colts Ring of Honor inductee, currently holds the franchise’s record for most career yards passing. Since 2013, the Colts have made it to the playoffs eight times.

Indianapolis Colts at Lucas Oil Stadium
Opened on August 16, 2008, Lucas Oil Stadium is located in Indianapolis, Indiana and seats approximately 67,000. The exterior facade is constructed with 980,000 bricks; if you lined them all up, they’d stretch 185 miles — approximately the distance from Indianapolis to Chicago. The roof also features two retractable panels that can be opened in about 11 minutes.

The Indianapolis Colts have reached the Super Bowl championship four times and won twice — Super Bowl V in 1971 (when they were the Baltimore Colts), beating the Dallas Cowboys 16-13, and Super Bowl XLI in 2007, where they beat the Chicago Bears 29-17.
We really enjoyed the game. We most definitely enjoyed the fact that we did not have to walk in the cold weather. We were able to walk to the stadium through the Convention center. We had a great time. Our seats was awesome and the food was great.
Sharing an NFL game with kids and grandkids in an indoor stadium in January, what a treat! Just about the entire walk from our hotel to the game was comfortable and indoors. Stadium is beautiful, staff is very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience - for some, it was the first ever seeing the best athletes play live in an NFL game.
Seeing a game live in person is so much better than seeing it on tv! Can't wait to go again! Definitely a blast!

Everything about an NFL game is a complete waste of time and money.
Easy parking at same location last three times up there, with a short walk to stadium. Seats are easy to reach, and concession stands are plentiful.
I hate seeing we lost, but I had a feeling the Raider's would be up for this game d/t Madden passing away earlier in the week. For me, this was the first of many game's I took my 5 year old son too. Plus, it was the first game my wife has attended professionally too. Our seats were in the nosebleed, but I ordered them two days before the game. Regardless, the seats were pretty good considering.
I have a bad knee and no one would help me relocate to a better seat and know one would help me.
This was the first game my son and I went to, with our family and our team won made it even better! Raider Nation!! We will be back!!
Easy in, easy out! The facility was clean, and members of the stadium staff were helpful. No complaints at all about our visit.

Bought tickets way before knowing how big the game was! So glad my wife and I got to go! We had the best experience, the bar tenders were so nice and we even decided afterwards that we wanted to be season tix holders so we are now! Life is Short, Make it Sweet! Go Colts!!!!!
It was nice experience. City is amazing, stadium is very nice and love that it’s dome. Would of been nice to get closer seats but pricing and availability wasn’t option.

Walking to the Stadium from nearby hotels takes about 15 min. The Stadium is clean and very well kept. Ticketless entry was fast and easy.
Purchased some tickets in the upper deck and really enjoyed the game. Had an excellent view of the field and the entire stadium. Great value for the price!
