Great game, except didn’t get my battle red shirt.

- Houston

Unbelievable game despite seeing my Bills lose. Great game day experience, except for the fact that I never received my Battle Red shirt, and I was in the stadium over an hour before kickoff, so that was slightly disappointing. Also, the hawkers didn’t like going down to the front row to serve drinks for whatever reason. As a former HR manager in the sports & entertainment industry, that would be something to work on with them. If there’s any way to send me a Battle Red shirt, that’d be great.

Texans Draft Party

- Houston

Would not recommend going. Very unorganized on direction where to go to see draft. People weren't sitting together. No direction on were to sit. Just open stadium seats. Curtain down middle of stadium with chairs on floor( is this were we are suppose to sit)? Loved Draft Party last year much better. I recommend all other events at Stadium

DRAFT PARTY

- Houston

I loved every minute of the draft party. From the meet and greet to the various fun tables inside. aside from the beer prices being 10 and up for a beer. What would make it lit, would be a cover band during intermissions and 2 dollar drafts by the major beer supporter. Glad I was fortunate to meet the main man. QB Deshaun Watson. Thanks so much!

Official NFL Ticket Exchange of the Houston Texans

Houston Texans at NRG Stadium

Swim in a sea of patriotic red, white and blue jerseys while supporting the newest NFL franchise, the Houston Texans. They’re the youngest team in the league, but crowds of fans with official box office tickets flock to NRG Stadium for each game to witness the up-and-coming squad in action. With energetic players and a skillful staff, fans embrace the team and are eager to participate in their newly-emerging traditions. Whether singing the Texans’ fight song, "Football Time in Houston," or cheering on the players as they cinch an AFC South Championship title, there’s an immense level of enthusiasm and support for the young Texans team. While the NRG Stadium hosted Super Bowl LI in 2017, fans of the Texans are optimistic that one day they will have the opportunity to support their home team and buy tickets to a Super Bowl game of their own.

Houston Texans 2017-18 Season

Under the leadership of head coach Bill O'Brien, the Texans remain hopeful for their future in the NFL. Winning the 2016 AFC South Championships, the Texans were poised for another divisional victory in the 2017 season, but finished the season with a win-loss record of 4-12. Several players, including quarterbacks Deshaun Watson and Tom Savage, succumbed to critical injuries on the field throughout the season. The team's unexpected troubles left them at a grave disadvantage for the 2017 season. And while the Texans are the only team in the league to never play in a Conference Championship game, the squad is still reveling in their prior successes. After celebrating their 100th regular season win in October of 2016, the Texans are looking towards a more promising season in 2018. As the team and staff continue to establish themselves in the league, the Texans are working hard to defeat their reputation as a young and inexperienced team.

Team History

Established in 1999, the Houston Texans did not participate in their first official NFL season until several years later in 2002. The Houston Texans are owned by Bob McNair, a billionaire businessman who owns a number of power plants, and have been led by coaches including Dom Capers (2001-2006), Gary Kubiak (2006-2013), Wade Phillips (2013-2014) and O'Brien (2014-Present).

A member of the American Football Conference South division, the team got off to a rocky start during their first years in the league. While working to establish their team identity, the Texans eventually became more comfortable and began to work as a more cohesive unit. The Texans went on to secure their first big win as the AFC South Championship champs in 2011. They unexpectedly repeated their success and secured the same title again in 2012, 2015 and 2016. Without the rich history of other teams in the league, the Texans are still in the midst of forming team traditions and rivalries. According to fans, however, the Tennessee Titans (formerly the Houston Oilers) are the biggest rival of the team, though other franchises, such as the Jacksonville Jaguars and Indianapolis Colts, are also frequently named as rivals.
