About

GRIZFOLK IN CONCERT:

With their mix of confessional folk rock and head-bobbing electronic pop, Grizfolk are an up-and-coming band just as comfortable playing intimate venues as they are performing to large arena crowds. Their unique sound and contagious onstage energy made them a headlining act in a relatively short period of time, and now they consistently bring their fun and intimate brand of performance to the people. At their live shows Grizfolk connects with the crowd in a way that approaches the spiritual, delivering the fervor and zeal of a church service, but with a personal focus instead of religious one. Ticket buyers will be treated to fun-filled concert experience helmed by five best friends having a blast and singing their hearts out.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Though Grizfolk has only been together a few short years, they've already inspired a dedicated cult following of lovers of Americana and alternative pop music. The band formed in 2013 in Los Angeles when Swedish expatriates Fredrik Eriksson and Sebastian Fritze began collaborating with singer-songwriter Adam Roth. After expanding to a five-piece lineup the group signed with Virgin EMI and toured in support of labelmates Bastille. 2014 saw the release of their debut EP From the Spark as well as a headlining tour of the U.S. Their song “Way Back When” was also featured on the soundtrack for the animated motion picture Peabody & Sherman.

    Great experience

by Mandy on 2/7/22The Parish at House of Blues Anaheim - Anaheim

It was a great place to have the concert. I wish there would have been seating, with better bar options. The atmosphere was great. I like we had our own bathrooms. Maybe it needed to be more organized due to a big concert happening at the same time, people we confused which line to stand in.

    awesome venue, awesome music

by Anonymous on 2/12/16Great Scott - Allston

I first saw Grizfolk in 2014 when they opened for Bastille and loved them, so I obviously had to get tickets when they returned to Boston. Great Scott is an awesome, small club venue (18+) and was perfect for this sort of concer. It wasn't a bunch of crazy people obsessing over how hot the band was-- it was a crowd who was genuinely there for the music. And Grizfolk did not disappoint. They sounded amazing. The show was extremely long and thorough for a band with fairly few songs-- super stoked about that. Overall it was an awesome experience. Grizfolk's sound is very unique and totally cool.

I would have given this all the stars in the world

    by amylynne9411 on 2/8/16The Shelter - Detroit

This was hands-down, the best experience I've ever had at a concert. Sorry, Bastille, I love you but this blew it out of the water! I was up close, so close in fact, that I kept bumping Sebastian's mic stand with my phone when I was taking pictures, which I was able to apologize for, as each member came out after the show and we got to meet them all. We had conversations, took pictures, I got autographs, it was more than I could have ever asked for. It was amazing to listen to these songs that I am in love with and to be close enough to hold eye contact with them while singing along. This venue, this band, the people who worked this venue were amazing. Everyone was friendly. I want to re-live this again and again.

Such a good show! Whether in a quaint setting or a huge amphitheater Grizfolk engages the crowd and delivers an amazing show! Looking forward to when they come back to Boston!
