    Gobsmacked was a fantastic show

by Roja13 on 12/13/17Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

Saw Gobsmacked at The Broadway Playhouse. It was a fantastic show. The performers were all amazingly talented singers. The theater itself is small so it gives you a more intimate feel, although I wouldn't choose the same seats again, only because it was almost directly under the speakers and it was a bit loud (just a personal preference). The show itself was great and I hope they bring it back again. The beat boxer was AMAZING, but really all the singers were so great. They did a meet and greet after the show and they were so kind and patient, taking pictures and signing the playbills, even though they had to be exhausted. The theater was nice, clean, the staff was very friendly and it's location is great. The show was a birthday present for my daughter and she (a HUGE Glee fan) said it was even better than Glee!

    Great afternoon

by Boombang on 12/12/17Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

I took my 12 year old daughter and we both had a blast. Money well spent. If you can get seats close, there worth it to see the facial expression of the performers

    Not for us

by wontletme on 12/12/17Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

The talent was good, but the event was not for us. Just a bunch of noise to our ears. We left our valuable tickets behind as we didn't come back after intermission.

Gobsmacked was not my cup of tea

by RWit on 12/11/17Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

Couldn't wait for it to end. The cast was very good but I'm not into rap and hip hop

    Disappointing

by RBIL on 12/11/17Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

We love the Broadway Playhouse and we love a cappella shows, but we did not like this one. The connections between songs were awkward, and the singing for the most part seemed to lack heart and soul.

    The best

by Lowasut on 12/10/17Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

We were in aw the whole show, great voices, all a cappella, beatboxxer was amazing. Well worth the money and would recommend this to everyone. My only complaint was the amount of people that came in late, disturbing others so they could get to their seats. Just sit in a seat then at intermission go to your ticket seat. Very rude to the performers. Lowasut

    Forgettable.

by Jamand1 on 12/10/17Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

Lacked luster. Not a professional performance. Better suited for a cruise ship.

Not sure what it means, but it sounded interesting

Very pleasant surprise with lots of energy and talent

    Really, really disappointing.

by ShawnShawnShawn on 12/10/17Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place - Chicago

Sound was terrible. Songs way out of range for the abilities of performers. Theatre less than half full should have been a warning. Escaped after first half.
