About

With 10 multi-platinum albums and 16 Top 30 hits, FOREIGNER is universally hailed as one of the most popular rock acts in the world with a formidable musical arsenal that continues to propel sold-out tours and album sales, now exceeding 80 million.

Responsible for some of rock and roll's most enduring anthems including "Juke Box Hero," "Cold As Ice," "Hot Blooded," "Waiting For A Girl Like You," "Feels Like The First Time," "Urgent," "Head Games," "Say You Will," "Dirty White Boy," "Long, Long Way From Home" and the worldwide #1 hit, "I Want To Know What Love Is," FOREIGNER still rocks the charts more than 40 years into the game with massive airplay and continued Billboard Top 200 album success. Audio and video streams of FOREIGNER's hits are approaching 15 million per week.

With more Top 10 songs than Journey and as many as Fleetwood Mac, FOREIGNER also features strongly in every category in Billboard's "Greatest of All Time" listing. At times, the band's weekly catalog sales have eclipsed those of Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, the Rolling Stones, the Who, Def Leppard, Van Halen, Aerosmith, and most of their Classic Rock peers (Source:MusiConnect). FOREIGNER's catalog sales were recently celebrated in Business Insider as hitting the Top 40 among the Best Selling Music Artists of All Time.

FOREIGNER's founder is Songwriters Hall of Fame member Mick Jones, a visionary maestro whose stylistic songwriting, indelible guitar hooks, and multi-layered talents continue to escalate FOREIGNER's influence and guide the band to new horizons. Jones reformed the band after a 2002 hiatus and selected lead singer Kelly Hansen to help write an inspired new chapter in the history of FOREIGNER. One of rock's greatest showmen, Hansen is among the most respected, consummate professionals in rock and roll. With a 40-year career that spans almost every area of music, from the role of lead vocalist to producing and engineering, Hansen has led FOREIGNER into the digital age while inspiring a whole new generation of fans.

FOREIGNER's lineup also includes noted Dokken bassist Jeff Pilson, Michael Bluestein on keyboards, guitarist Bruce Watson, Chris Frazier on drums and guitarist Luis Carlos Maldonado. An unprecedented new level of energy led the group to a re-emergence of astounding music that speaks to FOREIGNER's enduring popularity.

FOREIGNER recently announced the beginning of their Farewell Tour on national television. The tour will commence on July 6th, 2023 in Atlanta, GA and is expected to take two years or so to complete. The goal is to visit all the cities where the band has played since its reformation in 2004.

Foreigner Parx Casino Show minus Mick Jones?

    by Fedexbobbyt on 5/31/23

The band was very good and did all the great hits! The sound and the room at Parx Casino Bensalem Pa is very good. The only disappointment was that Mick Jones was not on guitar or at the show,so technically there was not one original member performing.Kelly Hansen was the singer and his voice still sounded great hitting high notes, but he has only been in the band since 2005.A good show but they should advertise when Mick Jones will or will not be performing as you are paying a premium price for a glorified cover band!

    Foreinger?

    by Wickedasitseems on 5/30/23

This isn't Foreigner! It's just some guys playing Foreigner songs. I think the guitarist is an original member though....some nights. But, hey, if you're a fan, maybe you'll like it.

    First Concert Ever

    by Excelsior62 on 5/30/23

Foreigner was my very first concert in my 25 years on this earth and I will remember it for the rest of my life! Kelly Hansen is so funny and engaged the crowd, and the whole band made it a dream for me and my best friend. Hearing these songs that I grew up listening to was such an amazing experience. So glad I got to see them perform before the tour ends. I HIGHLY recommend it. šŸ‘šŸ‘

    Foreigner in VA

by Razor on 5/29/23Salem Civic Center - Salem

This version really puts on a show. However, they have lost some of their signature sound. We have seen them several times over the past few years and they just don't sound the same. I miss the sax solo in Urgent. Good show, just not the best.

    Reliving the 80’s

by 65vair on 5/27/231st SUMMIT ARENA at Cambria County War Memorial - Johnstown

The band was spot on. Vocals were killer, drummer was a beast, guitarists were ripping, and bass player driving it home!!! Fears of a lack luster performance left with the first song. Epic concert!!! And yes, LIVE!!!

My first time that unfortunately will be the last time

by Kgesalman on 5/27/231st SUMMIT ARENA at Cambria County War Memorial - Johnstown

The band sounded great! We had a wonderful time and they played all the hits. There was no odd song thrown in there that left you flat. Unless you count the instrumental part but they need that moment to give the singer’s voice a rest. The only complaint I had was I wish they’d have had a screen so I could’ve seen some closeup stuff better. I’m short and we had floor tickets toward the back. I also wish this wasn’t their last tour but they’re aging and want to give it up while they’re still great. It was a great show!
