Every little thing about this event and performance was amazing. Highly recommended. Of course we couldn't figure out how every illusion was done. It was unexpected to have live musicians. This created a custom experience. Darcy was interactive with the audience. There was humour, heart-felt moments, as well as anxious moments, so it was a great experience. We would go again for sure!
Seating was awful. I was front row but had to stare at the screen the whole time. Stage was higher that the seats and any seats behind us were not elevated to get a view of the stage. I went to see an illusionist LIVE!!!!, not watch him from. The screens there! Would have been more comfortable watching him from the TV screen at home !

I have been a fan of Darcy Oake for years and was very excited to have the opportunity to see him perform in his home town! The show was even better than I knew it would be. The way he interacts with the audience is the best part. I highly recommend it.
Darcey put on an amazing show! I liked the smaller venue (my first time at the Burt). It was more intimate.

For me, I was familiar with the illusions which made me anticipate more than usual - I found that each illusion was separated by too much talking (to the audience, getting volunteers, etc) - I would prefer an act where he goes from illusion to illusion with no words - that would add to the mysticism.
