Famous French artist of Armenian descent, musical icon and unique voice Mr Charles Aznavour will finally perform live on stage on his last World Tour 2018 in Australia. The concert will take place:

14th of September 2018 Sydney State Theatre at:

49 Market St, Sydney NSW 2000

About Charles Aznavour:

Internationally known, Charles Aznavour is an author, singer-songwriter-composer and actor. In 2009, he was appointed Ambassador of Armenia to Switzerland, as well as Armenia's permanent delegate to the United Nations at Geneva. The son of Armenian immigrants struggled against all the odds to launch his singing career in France. Aznavour is a unique singer/songwriter who inspires his fans by his passion for music and his unique tenor voice. As an international star he is very well known for his powerful on-stage charisma and incredible willpower.

During the 70 years of his career, he wrote over 800 and recorded over 1200 songs, sung in 7 languages, appeared in over 70 movies, wrote many books and sold more than 180 million records across the world. His poetry and the feelings that he conveys with the right words move and reach across all generations!

Aznavour is the longest standing “A-List” star, still filling major venues all over the world.

    This is a man I have waited years to see and he was terrific. At 92 he is a marvel and still has a strong voice with incredible energy. The whole audience was incredibly happy to be there. He has fans of every age and it was the treat of my life. I regularly attend performances all year long and this was my favorite. Loved him! The audience was so happy to be there. People will be raving about his performance for years to come. What a treasure he is!

    We love him ... only thing, it was hard to understand what he was singing, maybe the sound was bad or he is simply getting old. We understood perfectly his granddaughter when she did sing a duo with him.

    Charles Aznavour transcended his years to bring some of our favorite songs to life. From his very special delivery of a song, to the musicians that accompanied him and what seemed like vintage nightclub lighting we had a evening we didn't want to end. He is a rock star of the ages!

    I have been attending Charles Aznavour concerts for five decades. I am so grateful to have been able to attend this one. And there are so few actual living legends in our time. He still has the magic. there is no one like him and never will be again. That is the definition of a true artist.

    Charles Aznavour is still amazing at 92!!! He is one of the rare artists that has a unique talent which is impossible to imitate. This was a night that I would never forget.

    Charles Aznavour has been one of my favorite singers ever since I first heard of him from the Muppet Show!! He still has the charm that I have always known. While he may not act out his songs like he used to and uses the teleprompter, his voice is as strong as ever. He also is able to bounce between French and English seamlessly. I am thrilled to have seen him and hope to see him again.

    It was one of Charles Aznavour's best concerts. I couldn't believe that he's 92 year young. He never sounded better. I really enjoyed the whole concert. I felt very nostalgic about the past. He is the true icon. Truly amazing!!
