Not a bad seat

- Charlotte

Sat in 503, Row 7. The crowd was great, the traffic was great (rode the Lynx, park and ride). The view was much better than I expected. Panthers fans are a great friendly crowd!

Mediocre stadium and atmosphere

- Charlotte

This was my first Panther's game and I must say I was underwhelmed. A win for the home tea on a beautiful day and you would have thought the Panthers lost in the rain. I've never seen such lackluster fan engagement. My section wasn't even bothering to stand after touchdowns. multiple announcements were made about the "sell-out" game but I'd say the stadium was only about 3/4 full. Long lines for limited food options- Pizza, burger, hot dog, bad BBQ are your only options at outrageous prices. Bank Of America should consider fan-first pricing many other stadiums are implementing. Overall, I'd say excitement level was that of a high school football game with Steelers game prices. Next time I want an NFL experience I think I'll drive the 3 hours to see the Falcons in Mercedes.

The First Pro Game of My Life

- Charlotte

This was quite an experience for me. This was the first time I had ever been in the BOA Stadium. It was a fantastic game on top of that! I only wish the tickets weren't so expensive.

Amazing venue

- Charlotte

Great place to watch game. Unfortunately, I sat behind a jerk who refused to sit down 80% of the game blocking everyone’s view.

Information

Official NFL Ticket Exchange of the Carolina Panthers

Carolina Panthers at Bank of America Stadium

The Panthers entered the NFL as the expansion team in 1997, increasing the overall number of teams in the league (alongside the fellow newbies, the Jacksonville Jaguars). In their first three years, the team had breakout success, reaching the NFC championship twice. While the team is based in Charlotte, it reps both North and South Carolina due to its proximity.

The team's home stadium is the Bank of America Stadium, which houses more than 75,525 fans. The open-air stadium features a natural grass playing field and a top-of-the-line sound system, ensuring no fan misses out on the excitement of the game.

And fans rally around the mantra “Keep Pounding,” a chant to honor former player and linebackers coach Sam Mills, who gave an emotional speech during a playoff game, urging his players to never give up. The Panthers claimed victory over the Dallas Cowboys, and “Keep Pounding” became the name of a fund to sponsor cancer research programs and an official team slogan. Mills continued coaching the entire 2004 season but lost his battle with cancer on April 18, 2005. “Keep Pounding” has been co-opted as a message of encouragement to cancer patients, survivors, and loved ones.

Carolina Panthers 2018-19 Season

The 2017 season saw the Panthers start strong. In the preseason, the team won their first game against the Texans and closed with a 2-2 record. They continued the momentum into the regular season, winning four of their first five games, only losing one to the Saints.

Ultimately, the Panthers ended the season with 11 wins and 5 losses, the same record as the Saints. Since the Panthers fell to the Saints both times the two teams faced each other in the regular season, the Saints were given the top slot and the Panthers came in second for the NFC South.

With the introduction of Norv Turner as offensive coordinator, the Panthers are expected to make a run for the top spot in the NFC South in the 2018 season. Turner will turn his focus to helping the offensive line work more fluidly as a team and will work with quarterback Cam Newton to move the ball forward faster than last season.

Carolina Panthers Team History

By NFL terms, the Panthers are a younger team. The franchise was granted to Charlotte, North Carolina, in 1993. They began playing in the 1995 season and moved into Bank of America Stadium, which was privately financed, in 1996. Since then, the team has proven to be a force to be reckoned with.

From 1995 through 1998, Dom Capers led the Panthers as head coach. Capers was let go after what was then the team’s worst season (4-12 record), and George Seifert took the reigns until 2001. Next, John Fox picked up the head coach position and held it from 2002 to 2010. He led the team to Super Bowl XXXVIII,  where the Panthers fell to the Patriots in a nail-biter game that ended with nothing more than a field goal separating the teams at the final buzzer.

Ron Rivera took the helm in 2011 and secured another Super Bowl spot for the Panthers in the 2015 season when the team was defeated by the Broncos. Despite the pending change in team ownership, Rivera will likely stick around through the 2020 season due to a contract extension.
