I feel everyone should have had the same opportunity to purchase tickets on the same day no exceptions. With that said, it seems like CMT just wanted a younger crowd versus your true hard fans of country.
I had a wonderful time. The only thing that kinda bothered me was that at the Moody Center, you canât use cash for anything. Plus, the food and beverages are so expensive. At the BBQ vendor, a pulled pork sandwich was $13. They wanted $8 for a microscopic cup of potato salad or coleslaw. A small basket of sweet potato fries was $8 and it barely filled one layer in the basket. A bottle of water was $5. Ridiculous!
The show was amazing! I canât wait to go see the next one
LOVED the show - very entertaining, but very disappointed to get to our first row seats in section 115 directly across from the stage and find that they had put seating on the floor on risers that completely blocked our view. Our seats werenât sold as obstructed view seats. They were expensive tix and we paid as much as other people who could see the stage. Seats they put up on floor were not shown on seating map. Very disappointing.
We were not informed when we bought the tickets that we would have an obstructed view. Due to a light bar, we could not see the stage at all.
It was amazing how the stage setup accommodated all types of acts. The performances were professional and the artists spanned the legends and the new. We were able to see all the hot artists sitting across from us and it was surreal to see them all in one place. The show started and ended on time. I did not go to the outdoor venues because of the inconvenience of driving and traveling in Austin from the wristband site to the performance site which does not work for out of towners. But the show was enough in itself.
Not worth the money @ $370 a ticket because of the rude people allowed to go for food and drinks during the live performances. Also, the best live performances were outside the Moody Center on the Dodge Ram stage. Moody Center seats paid to watch 1/2 the show on screen. In my view, it is a better value to attend a live Grand Ole Oprey event and watch the CMT Music Awards on TV.
Was disappointed with the sound inside, disappointed that some of the people that I wanted to see were singing outside on stages. The stairs on level two were extremely steep and narrow. It definitely lost its touch for country music.
Country music award shows has been the only award shows where viewers donât have to be subjected to politics and someone pushing their social agenda. This ended when Kelsea Ballerini conducted her protest against the proposed drag Queen laws. Protest on your own time. I donât want to view your protest or pay to see it. My last attendance at this event.
