About

The hilariously side splitting Avenue Q is set to return to Perth for a strictly limited season, bringing audiences a show that is part flesh, part felt andpacked with heart. Winner of the TONY® TRIPLE CROWN for BEST MUSICAL, BEST SCORE and BEST BOOK, Avenue Q is an irreverently witty and outright uproarious insight into a world where Sesame Street-esque puppets rub shoulders with humans.

This is a puppet show, however make no mistake, this is not your average kids puppet show. Join us as we follow the life of Princeton, a bright eyed college graduate navigating his way through the multicultural, and at times raucous neighborhood Avenue Q in New York City.

Be prepared to be transported into a world of puppet debauchery, where puppets and humans mingle with gregarious consequences. From sexual congress, failed childhood stardom and excessive drinking to finding your purpose in life, Avenue Q hilariously navigates adult life from a puppet’s point of view – no strings attached!

WARNING: FULL PUPPET NUDITY AND OTHER VULGARITIES WILL INDUCE LAUGHTER.

Who is AVENUE Q appropriate for?

Adults love AVENUE Q, but they seem a little, er, fuzzy on whether it's appropriate for kids. We'll try to clear that up. AVENUE Q is great for teenagers because it's about real life. It may not be appropriate for young children because AVENUE Q addresses issues like sex, drinking, and surfing the web for porn. It's hard to say what exact age is right to see AVENUE Q - parents should use their discretion based on the maturity level of their children. But we promise you this - if you DO bring your teenagers to AVENUE Q, they'll think you're really cool.

This was my first time at 710 and I hope to see many more shows here. What a nice theater .Avenue Q was such a fun show. My daughter had seen it many years ago in NYC and liked it then. Very clever.

This was our second time seeing this show and it was amazing. Kudos to Charmagne Chi, who played Christmas Eve. On a night full of great performances, she managed to shine above the rest!

The funniest, happiest, and most true-to-life 'adult show' you could ever see - even with the puppets! Great music too!

    Great show

I only listened to the Avenue Q cast recording and the 710 performance fulfilled every promise the CD made. The cast was great, especially when a member had both their characters on stage. Great show. :)

Thought it would be a little more witty. Was difficult to understand the actors/singers over the music at times.
