Show started promptly and the band never slowed up ... was an extremely entertaining show
From the Lead Singer at the stage center to the drummer in the back the electricity they generated was undeniable. Really Great Show ... would def go back again if they were to show up in Mobile again.

If you've ever listened to any Asobi Seksu studio album you know they paint beautiful soundscapes with harmonic layers. What you may not know is how intense and how awesome they rock live. From the first moment they explode onstage in sheer energy and power without losing any of the beautiful soundscapes you would expect to hear. They engage the crowd and poor blood sweat and tears into the show. Awesome experience!!

its was the perfect result of blasting sounds of instrument and voice of sirenity clashed together.
Con: the instruments are roaring while you can hardly hear the vocals.

Some difficulties but more lively than expected
by Webwires on 2/28/11Brighton Music Hall - Boston
The weather was bad in Boston and it appears that their opening act wasn't able to make it so Asobi Seksu was out very early rather unexpectedly. On top of that the lead singer's mike was too low. Aside from that the music had a lot more energy than is heard by listening to their albums. Punk elements that drive the energy of their songs are much more evident. The primary focus was on their latest album, which is understandable, but I would have liked a few more hits from their previous albums like Familiar Light.
All in all I think I've gained more respect for the band and listen more intently to their music as a result of their show. Shoegaze is a rare breed these days so its nice to hear a band put this much behind it.
