Best damn collaboration of music near us. We love having the opportunity to see up and coming artists as well as past favorites, all in one day. Great seats almost anywhere you are, but the food selection was lacking. Stood in line twice only to find out the main course of a hot dog or brat was out. Other than that, the money is well spent on an outdoor venue 3 hours from home. Three years in a row...we love it each and every time!

This was very interesting with 2 stages. Very well planned. Concert was great. Was a little upset that your there over 9 hours and the only food was hot dogs, brats, pretzels and nachos. Why can't you bring a couple food trucks in?

We really enjoyed a lot of the music. That’s never a problem. We’re always into the bands that are brought in for Buzz Beach Ball. However, the past events have been much better. It used to be our favorite music event of the year in Kansas City. It has steadily dropped off the last few years though. This year was kind of a disappointment. The fact that a lot of the venue was empty, only a handful of the drink/concession lines were open, and the only food options were basically snacks for a 9 hour event, really made us think twice about wanting to go the the concert again if it’s in the same venue in the future.

We were upgraded from lawn seats to front row and even ended up backstage!! Never had such a great experience

This year was so much more relaxed than prior beach ball events Id been to at the KC Sporting Arena. I had stopped - after attending half a dozen Buzz Beach Ball shows at Sandstone - going to Buzz Beach Ball BECAUSE of how horrible the sporting park was. I was so happy they moved back to Sandstone with the grassy hillside, tons of surrounding trees, plenty of shade, and relaxing atmosphere. This year was unforgettable and I plan to continue to attend Buzz Beach Ball in the future if they intend to stay at Sandstone. I absolutely adored that Portugal the Man received permission from the local indigenous tribe to perform on indigenous land. Respect for the land and its indigenous leaders is paramount and id love to see more performers in touch with that side of things. Also, if you have not already seen AWOLNATION perform - do it. You will not be disappointed.

The entertainment was outstanding! Though the venue wasn't my favorite.

Having lawn seats for this event was great during set changes. We could lay down and spread out to be comfortable. Having lawn seats were great for dancing when the bands were playing as well.

Bands were great! Venue was not. Didn’t realize we paid for seats that could only view 1/2 the bands. Lots of beer options But not much for food.

Absolutely amazing time! The atmosphere of the event was just perfect, nothing too hectic & everyone having a good time. The line up was great, gave me enough time to walk back and forth between stages. Mansionair was great; loved how the lead singer sat down by the crowd. Hembree really got the crowds singing and jumping which was a fun time! Lovelytheband was amazing! Had such a good speech to the crowds and everyone was jumping to the songs. Joywave had such good chemistry with the crowds; even sang their song that was featured in Fortnite! Robert DeLong played some new songs that were SO GOOD! I can’t wait for them to be released. By far AWOLNATION was the best performance of the night; very memorable. Portugal The Man was a little disappointing as they pulled a political statement before the show that was a complete buzz kill. But the remaining performance was good, didn’t seem to connect with the crowd that much though. Overall, this was an AMAZING concert & I will be going every year now due to the GREAT time I had.
