The adaptation of Prince's music played by a symphony was inspiring and innovative. I think that Prince would be very impressed.
such a dis-service to Prince's music, could have been so so good, but fell very flat. The graphics were terrible also.
I was unsure what to expect since this was a symphony and was a little skeptical that it would do Prince justice. Let me just say this by far exceeded my expectations and inwas impressed! I think i cried through most of it as I still mourn Prince but what an experience! They were on point and were very tasteful! Singers were talented and they got it right! I wish it would have stayed in town longer, as I would have gone multiple timesš well done and thank you! ššš¶š
I know they wanted to act like Prince was singing Purple Rain with the symphony but that is the part that they should have sang and had the audience involved. Disappointed in the ending and beginning weird as it was. The middle was good; but should have been more of that for the money. My daughter in law fell asleep. My son enjoyed it and said like me 6/10.
Beyond moving...symphony accompanied by talented Prince tribute singers, including a choreography of pictures and look back of Princeās musical impact. Special experience!
fabulous symphony, band and singers. Of course, I love ANYTHING Prince!
There was a variety of old and new Prince songs -- ballads and dance tunes; Lots of excitement, and never a dull moment! The musicians and singers were incredibly talented!
Symphony performs great renditions of Prince's hits along with bits of Video and Voice clips from the Man himself. All musicians are great Specially the lead Violinist that replicates a guitar solo from "lets go crazy". Everyone was amazing. Full theatre and crowd was up on their feet dancing all night.
The orchestra was amazing! The arrangements were amazing, especially at the beginning, and I only wish I could have seen all the horns in the back (I wanted to see everyone and everything I was hearing). The singers did a respectable job, and I also appreciated the electric guitarist, bassist, and the drummer. That lady on the electric violin was truly a nod to Prince's stellar talent, style, and artistry. Wow! I loved it! Oh, and thank you for letting us dance!!!! What a Mother's Day treat :)
