Hailing from the Houston neighborhood of Alief, Aaron May has enjoyed an unlikely DIY path to success. Encouraged by positive feedback on Reddit for his debut video, "Ride," then 17 year old Aaron May wrote, recorded, and produced much of his now classic debut CHASE while still a junior in high school for a few hundred dollars. Self-released in February of 2019, CHASE's timeless energy, led by now platinum certified single "Let Go," quickly earned him meaningful support from Spotify, Apple Music, Complex Magazine, and more, and an avalanche of label interest ensued. Fiercely independent, the young artist opted for the road less traveled and continued as an independent artist, self-releasing a string of hit singles, EPs and collaborations. Five years and 750 million streams later, Aaron is still fully independent, owns his masters, publishing, and self-funds his marketing efforts, often producing and directing his own videos, as well as for many of the artists on his Houston-centric label, MOVEINTHEAM. Aaron is currently putting the final touches on his highly anticipated new project due this Spring.
Amazing performer!! Great stage presence!! Gave the crowd a great encore!!
It was my first concert and all I can say is was amazing. Apart from it being a little hot in the venue it was such a thrill. The openers were good and the main artist was exceptional even though it’s his first tour. I can confidently say it was a night to remember.
mia was boring and the concert only got good when aaron may came out not gonna lie.
Definitely was a great experience. He knows how to connect with his crowd and make them feel loved.
It was a great show. Aaron May is worth seeing and supporting.
This is the first concert i ever have been to and it was amazing. The venue isn’t very big but that makes it kind of nice for a first concert because it doesn’t feel too packed. Aaron May and all of his label record are very active with the crowd. ME AND MY BOYFRIEND GOT ON STAGE!!! he was bringing people on stage who he could see were true supporters and he is super sweet! He gave us all a hug when we went on stage and his record label was dabbing my boyfriend up. this was a great experience and if you have the chance to see aaron may live it is amazing. take the chance to do it.
Aaron I love everything you're doing for MIA and most importantly I love the whole MIA keep doing y'all big one because it's just starting wait until they REALLY feel you ... Bigger room bigger names
The concert was fun. Each artist brought their best and for the most part, organized. The line was organized and fans weren't disruptive. My ONLY gripe was when 2 people needed medical assistance, there wasn't any security around to help and the artists had to take it upon themselves to provide help. This stopped the show a couple of times and was certainly awkward.
Aaron and his team put on a great show without having to do much but be their authentic selves. He was very personable and interactive with his fans, which I LOVED. Seeing him perform live was a 10/10 experience and for this being his first tour… everything flowed naturally. His show was definitely one for the books and I am looking forward to seeing him grow as an artist! 💜💜💜
Literally was the best experience if he has another i will for sure be there.
