Thunder v Pacers
Paycom Center - Oklahoma City
My son and I drove up from Tyler, Texas to watch the Thunder host the Pacers. This was our second game this season and third overall on OKC. My son has remained a devoted fan since he first started following basketball around 2013. Every facet of our game was top notch! From the way all of the event staff greats and helps you, to the fan experience during the game, during timeouts and halftime. We have watched NBA games here, in Dallas and Houston but OKC definitely is hands down the most enjoyable and fan friendly environment!

Paycom Center - Oklahoma City
Everything was great except parking. The access to the handicap seating was great and the concessions and bathrooms were easy to access.

Wonderful PayCom Service/Entertainment Experience
Paycom Center - Oklahoma City
I only go to 5-6 Thunder games a year. Would go to more but I am handicapped (on crutches), so have to find seat in Section 103 or similar. I was there March 10. The help provided to me as a handicapped person is remarkable and I am so thankful!! Keep up the great service and THUNDER UP!!!!!

Absolutely Wonderful
Paycom Center - Oklahoma City
It was our first time going to the Paycom center and also our very first Thunder game. Our experience was absolutely incredible. The staff were so friendly, helpful, and polite they all assisted us on places to take our children for it being their 1st experience. We will definitely be going to more games!

View of the game obstructed
Paycom Center - Oklahoma City
It was a really good game but I kept missing the good parts. WHY??!!! This is because of my seat. I was seated at Section 102 Row SS seat 11. This seat would have been great but the PAYCOM arena decided to put the camera man right there. In order for me to see the whole court I would have had to stand the entire game which in turn would have blocked the people in the rows behind of me from seeing. I kept having to move to see around the camera man or I had to look at the jumbo screen to see the game. If I wanted to see the game on TV I would have stayed at home. If PAYCOM is going to have the camera man positioned there for sporting events then they should not sell those seats because the patrons can only see the game clearly when the players are under the basket on that side or on the jumbo screen. If PAYCOM can try to position the camera person somewhere else that would be a great option as well. Also the little boy in front of me and the young lady behind me also had issues seeing the game because of the camera man as well.

Bummer Bag Policy
Paycom Center - Oklahoma City
Atmosphere was amazing, the staff at the kids spirit booths were seriously so great, the fact that my average size clear bag that I have used to attend several college sport events was “too big” and I had to lose my spot in line to walk 3 blocks back to my car to take it back and purchase a new ‘not clear’ bag inside to hold my wallet and other necessities was ABSOLUTELY insane.

Oklahoma City Thunder at Paycom Center
The Thunder have played in the same arena since Oklahoma City acquired the franchise in 2008, but it underwent several name changes before settling on Chesapeake Energy Arena in 2011 and then having its name changed to Paycom Center in 2021. The Thunder are the only professional franchise in Oklahoma -- the fanbase has traditionally been associated more with college athletics. But the volume and rowdiness of that college atmosphere carried over into Thunder games, giving the metro's arena and fanbase the nickname "Loud City," giving OKC a distinct home court advantage. The volume of the crowd picks up even more in the playoffs, when the Thunder also give away T-shirts to every fan in the crowd. OKC has taken to color blocking its crowd, giving different sections different colored shirts, a practice that has spread and become common among all teams in the NBA.

Oklahoma City Thunder History
The Oklahoma City Thunder were originally founded as the Seattle SuperSonics in 1967. The SuperSonics relocated to Oklahoma City in 2008 after qualifying for the NBA playoffs 22 times, winning their division six times and advancing to three NBA Finals, winning the NBA Championship in 1979. After they relocated to Oklahoma and became the Thunder, the Thunder are now the only team in major league sports in North America that's based in the state of Oklahoma. After relocating to Oklahoma City, the Thunder qualified for their first playoffs in the 2009-10 season. During the 2010-11 season, they won their first division title and the following season they won their first Western Conference championship. The 2011-12 season marked their first appearance in the NBA Finals since 1996, but the team has not yet won a championship since they've moved to Oklahoma City. The Oklahoma City Thunder's name comes from a reference to Oklahoma's location in Tornado Alley, and Oklahoma City being the home of the U.S. Army's 45th Infantry Division, which were known as the Thunderbirds. On the list of the top NBA athletes who played for the Thunder are Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and James Harden.
