E Hula Mau Tickets

Keep in mind it was a competition, There are a lot of announcements and awards they give. So it makes it for a very long day. Also they stop in between dances to introduce the next performance. It was great seeing different styles of Polynesian dances!!! It was also nice that it was in doors in the AC. But I would have rather payed more money to go see an actual show. Would I go again? No. But I am glad I went.

With a wonderful participation of Hulaus the E Hula Mau was heartfelt with Aloha. But I can see that the attendance and vendor participation has dwindled once again. From speaking to participants from hulaus, vendors and guests there is an issue of dissatisfaction. Politics as well as pricing has made a effect on E Hula Mau and some of the top Hulaus are not to participate as well as vendors. As a hula lover this is disappointing news and sadly I did start to hear about negative issues about 5 years ago. Egos and power plays seemed to take hold of various people and now the lack of participation is being felt all around. How unfortunate! I will continue to attend and hope for the best in the future.

Wonderful competitions! Beautiful costumes and music! Excellent food and crafting vendors!

Love this competition. I think more people would have come if there was more publicity. I definitely plan on making it a yearly occasion.

Everything was beautiful and we'll organized. What a wonderful display of culture. There were plenty of vendors that offered a wide range of Hawaiian cutter to purchase from food to clothing. This is a must attend annually! Wonderful alll day family event!
