About

WELCOME TO LA CAGE AUX FOLLES!

Winner of three 2010 Tony Awards® including the award for BEST MUSICAL REVIVAL, this hilarious new production of LA CAGE AUX FOLLES was the biggest hit of the 2010 Broadway season, leaving audiences in stitches night after night!

LA CAGE  starring George Hamilton and Christopher Sieber tells the story of Georges (George Hamilton), the owner of a glitzy nightclub in lovely Saint-Tropez, and his partner Albin (Christopher Sieber), who moonlights as the glamorous chanteuse Zaza. When Georges' son brings his fiancée's conservative parents home to meet the flashy pair, the bonds of family are put to the test as the feather boas fly! LA CAGE is a tuneful and touching tale of one family's struggle to stay together... stay fabulous... and above all else, stay true to themselves!

With a glorious score of hummable melodies and a dynamite cast featuring the "notorious and dangerous Cagelles," LA CAGE is an indisputable musical comedy classic... and this extraordinary new version shows you why!

Musical numbers were good. Great dancing. Entertaining but not "over the top" like Jersey Boys or Cats or Phantom or Chorus Line or Fossie. They were memorable and worth going to see again and again. Loved being greeted by one of the actors as we entered the show...it was one of the big hilights of the evening...that interaction.

  • Fantabulous!

Bottom line is it was a fabulous show. The music, songs, and actors were all so brilliant. If I wasn't laughing I had a big smile on my face. It's just one of those feel good musicals. Come see the show and celebrate life, love, diversity and family. Hurray for La Cage.

But it was very disappointing to learn upon arrival that George Hamilton was not performing. He was the draw for me.

La Cage might not be the best show I've ever seen, but it is a lot of fun. The singing and cast were fantastic, the story is light and entertaining with a great message, and it's an all-around great break from the world. The beginning is a little slow, but give it time and you'll enjoy it.
